The title of the article is just as its posted and only refers to the latest budget! The one the Repubs beetched was filled with Pork! Come to find out they had 6 of the top 10 Pork projects in the damn thing! Hypocrites! Then post that. Not meaning to say I don't trust you, but I don't know the source even to know if I trust it or not. Again I really don't care they are all hypocrites including Obama who said there would be no "earmarks" and not only are there earmarks there is pork. So we spend over twice as much money housing those who break the law, rather than spending it for the purpose of teaching one what it takes to be a productive member of society? Granted there are some who are just criminal minded types and there is not much that a public school system can do about it, but is this difference in allocated funding not indicative of the fact that we are not doing something right, while we have the chance... during the formative years?  Where is the responsibility of parents to teach their children to be productive members of society? The public school system has no business doing anything other than teaching students what it takes to survive in the real world, sans the socialist indoctrination which they seem to feel is their responsibility. Formative years? Where is the parental responsibility?

I say "there is always time" You must make it somehow. Working is NOT an excuse. It never has been and never should be. My God, I hope you never have to know work as I do. I put in farmers hours. You're right though, work is not an excuse, it's a reason. I use to do the same as farmers. I had a dairy farm. I now am proving myself in what is considered a "man's" world. Sorry but I disagree with you. I make the time to have a life. Even if I have to work in the evenings and weekends. There is always ME time. What if you enjoy what you do so much it becomes "me time"? The question is still out there. Does anyone have a career that they enjoy so much it could classify as "me time"?
