When you realize the reasons the person you are dating is divorced in the first place and actually start having sympathy for their ex? Of course this is the time you are ready to end the relationship as well. This has happened to me but I did verbalize what I thought and it was a real wake-up call for him. Oh boy...by the time I got the real story about why his ex divorced him, I was ready to go pin a medal on her for putting up with him for so long...took her 35 years to get fed up, took me 2 weeks.

If he ever threatens to kill himself again, call the police and let them handle it. I had a guy say that stuff to me a long time ago and I ended up talking to a suicide hotline about it. The man had done it for YEARS with other women. They said if he meant it he sure was taking his time and that ultimately, you have no control over it if someone is serious about doing themselves in. Obviously this man had used it as a device to manipulate you and he's pretty pathetic. He may need real help, but you are not a professional and you need to back away. You can't solve his problems and he actually probably doesn't WANT YOU TO. He wants to manipulate you. He DEPENDS on your caring for him. It's part of the way he gets under your skin. Wise woman!

You could have said you were busy sharpening knives. It's really cool if you have a whetstone and put the phone down by it while you sharpen. Evil grin... Ha! I'm going to use this on the nutty neighbors I have in this apt complex I've just moved into!!

It was about money, Her lying to get it. I didn't know her that long maybe a month. Bailed her out of jail the court kept the bail money and applied it to her fine. $500. There has been more money here and there. In the 3 1/2 months we have been together I spent about $2000 on her counting the fine. I want to know what the money is for. If I catch you lying. Well thats just it. Yeah, I only had half the story when I first posted. I'm with everyone else here....Run! No make-up sex is THAT good! Kick her to the curb. |

Do you wait for make up sex, or find someone else. Maybe I'm missing something, but since when is finding someone else a suitable alternative to working things out and then.... having make-up sex??!! |

If you found out your partner had been cheating with someone for the past several months or if you found out they'd had a large number of one night stands with many different people? Niether scenario sit well with me. For the first, he'd be gone..period. For the second, while we may all have skeletons, "a LARGE number of one night stands with MANY different people" is not wise in today's world of STDs and while it may be their business, it becomes mine if we are going to be intimate and he'd get tested or I'd move on. |

 Think we'll just let this topic die, doesn't seem to be a lot of interest in keeping it going. I've undergone some major changes in my life recently and I'm going to be starting a second job soon and probably won't be able to keep up with it anyway. Thanks for hangin' in with me, Charles!
