A Walk Through God's Garden

Do you remember long ago
When everything was built around God?
You went to church to worship
Nobody upon your heart, did trod.
You could say a prayer in school
And nothing be said about it,
The Pledge of Allegiance recited
And among the many it did fit.

There was no shame about God
On the all mighty dollar back then,
But nowadays they want to take
God off the dollar, where does it end?
You could walk the streets and see
People that offered a helping hand,
Where has our great nation gone
What used to be, a precious land?

All the pestilence, floods and fires
Are not of mans own doings,
But these are the warnings of God
Where the mighty storms are brewing.
Take a moment and look inside your heart
And ask, what can I do?
Follow the word of God, as He commanded
And He will make room for you.

Time through the years has changed
Where God was once a chosen word,
But nowadays, you can't even say it
It doesn't want to be heard.
History has shown, that with change
How man can destroy his own,
Man can make the laws
Not some entity that we've known.

You would never have heard in the past
Of the same sex marriages as today,
But we are so free to choose our lifestyle
And choose the way we play.
But God still keeps an eye on us
And He knows of the ones who pray,
Those will be the ones that receive
When Jesus comes that day.
