Have you decided to lower your standards when dating? No, but i have decided to change my approach and what i consider a good partner to be.

If anything my standards go up after every failed relationship because I've just found another thing to add to my "not looking for" list.

This is a difficult question ... "not intentionally" is the correct answer for you often realise too late that you have lowered your standards.

I don't know if they have been raised or just changed but definatly not lowered.

No Way. That is why I am not dating. Hopefully, I will be lucky as I have been in the past. A beautiful women will just walk in to my life and show that she is interested in me. It has happened twice. Maybe, the 3rd time will be a charm.

I would have to say that over the years my standards have changed but not lowered or changeed. When i was young my standards said they had to be a knock out in the looks. Als i cared about was are they beautiful and are they good in bed. I usually had somebody in the bed. But they never stayed. As i grew older and had a son to raise my standards changed. Looks are still important but more in the lines of, do they take care of themselves? Now i also have to think about, how will they get along with my son, and are they good to have around him.

NO WAY !! ANYONE WHO LOWERS THEIR STANDARDS AS A POOR OUTLOOK OF THEMSELVES < I KNOW I DESERVE THE BEST AND WON:T SETTLE FOR LESS !!

I have not begun to set standards untill just recently...and they arn't really standards, more like things to watch out for. As far as looks go, I have never been a person with extremely high standards.
