am i shallow no, is anyone really shallow no,so i guess the answer is no.i agree with biker shallow is just a word someone uses cause they are meekly or have low self esteem themselves...i hate the word "shallow" when used to describe someone who has preferences.

I think the shallow thing would be to date someone who didn't meet the qualities you're looking for (whatever those might be).

We all look for different things. It's extremely rare that someone embodies everything we look for, so you need to decide what things are deal breakers and what things aren't that big a deal.

In the end, remember she's a person too- don't be careless with her feelings.

True, but by the same token, if she had ANY kind of respect for herself, she would've made some attempt to get her sh!t together by now. Ain't none of us getting any younger, and that includes her. Perhaps she's never had anybody apply the cattle prod to her before, and it may be exactly what she needs to get motivated.

cattle prods hurt

and she may not know any better because she has always been taken care of....
the concept of do it yourself may not register, because she has never had too

sadly its becoming a great deal more common.....ppplllddd

cattle prods still hurt

Well, I told her. Hope I didn't hurt her feelings. I just want someone who is more motivated and who actually has a job and preferably younger.

I don't see how one relates to the other....

they don't, but its the combination of both. I'm not that attracted to her due to her weight (shes about 90 pounds I'm like 175) and on top of that shes 23 and doesn't drive yet.

If they don't appeal to you then they don't appeal to you!! Plain and simplebigsmile

yea theres 4 years and its weird for me. Most 23/24 year olds have graduated college and have even a job like me, but shes unemployed and not even done with a 2 year college (which I graduate in June). Plus I'm not gonna lie I can be immature for my age I mean I'm young I play video games and make stupid jokes and I'm not always serious hence why I prefer someone my age.

Well let’s be realistic here. A four year difference in your 20s is simply not that significant. The age itself is not a factor. No one is going to jail and you are both consenting adults. It’s simply that you feel that you are too immature to be with a woman 4 years older.

Yea, I don't know its just weird. I'm only 20 and shes about to turn 24. Just a little odd that I'm further along in my schooling and drive and she doesn't. Plus she doesn't even have a job

These would be some reason not to be dating and might make noncompatible. Since your goals are so different.
Her shape and driving skills wouldn't come into it to me.

Are you shallow well only you can decide that, I see someone thinking through the issues.

I honestly dislike the word shallow everyone has a preference on what they are attracted to and what they are not.
