do you criticize them, or do you find their good points, compliment them on that, and gently suggest a different way? or do you just blow it off if it's not too bad?

Depends on the severity...but if it's completely heinous, I wave my magic wand & *POOF*...invisable!

I guess it would depend on how illegal, immoral, or fattening the offenses are. Parental discretion is advised.

It would depend on who i was talking to!

If it was a mate, i would be honest but inject some humor....if it was a family member, i would do same....but if its a work colleague/service user/acquaintance, i would suggest another way.

I tend toward tactfully telling them that whatever they've done has upset/offended me - and respectfully request that they not do it to me/in my presence in the future.

It is how I would want someone to be with me...

pres roosevelt and lincoln learned that instead of critism, compliment on good work, and gently suggest a different way, and you'll get the utmost respect.

Depends on who it is and what the offense was. Some things aren't worth getting upset about. Pick your battles.
