Are you guys goal oriented? what do you hope to get done five years from today? or is it the same old same old thing?

Are you guys goal oriented? what do you hope to get done five years from today? or is it the same old same old thing?  That GOD allows me to still wake and be of good health in five years from now,,,and if I am really blessed,,to have someone sharing my life with me. Not asking for much huh...lol

Yep, definitely goal oriented, although at this stage in the game it's mostly personal goals. My career path has already been chosen 16 years ago and I'm not having anymore kids. So now it's mostly just some "me" stuff and a few things financial.

To not be dead.

Well by the end of the next 2-3 yrs, I will be done with child support, mortgages, credit card debt, all the wreckage of the past.

To be there when my youngest graduates high school.
To have my degree To be published To be with the person who still makes my heart thump after that long. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
To get through the next 5 years!

to marry a good woman and have chldren

|

- Finish my master's in the fall.
- Start my post grad and doctoral work. - Achieve my PhD by 2015. The rest is gravy!

I've been trying to figure that out for 38 years , nothing seems to work out.

- Finish my master's in the fall. - Start my post grad and doctoral work. - Achieve my PhD by 2015. The rest is gravy!  I like that you have a concrete plan. When you have dates and even the year planned out that is even better. The clearer you see where you want to go the more likely you will get there with fewer distractions

Now that all my houses are paid for. I'm going to get a classic car and a harley.

I'd like to go to grad school. Get a better job. Perhaps move somewhere different. Travel more.
