What about ponds? I think Ohio win the battle on having more natural and artifical ponds. We got lots of rivers too! And man made ones!

But have you done the scientific research on how many exactly are natural vs artificial? And also on how many of the rivers there are man made?
Yes. and Yes.bigsmile

That's it? All that research and all we get is Yes and Yes? And we were waiting in earnest for the specifics.
Just take a - how would you say it? A "leap of faith?"

Illinois, a state with an education standard of no other state in the country. As long as you can sound out vowels, you pass english, as long as you can count to at least 10, you pass math...history? What's that?

If you dislike this state soooooo much, LEAVE. If not, then have a nice hot cup of STFU.

TEXAS

- We have the death penalty

- The only state that can divide itself into five separate states to have more legislative power in the government

- The King Ranch in Texas is bigger than the state of Rhode Island

- Texas is the only state to enter the United States by treaty instead of territorial annexation.

- Austin is considered the live music capital of the world.

- Texas boasts the nation's largest herd of whitetail deer. (Sorry Wisconsin)

- The world's first rodeo was held in Pecos on July 4, 1883.

- The capitol in Austin opened May 16, 1888. The dome of the building stands seven feet higher than that of the nation's Capitol in Washington, D.C.

- Texas is home to Dell and Compaq computers and central Texas is often referred to as the Silicon Valley of the south.

- Dr Pepper was invented in Waco in 1885. The Dublin Dr Pepper, 85 miles west of Waco, still uses pure imperial cane sugar in its product. There is no period after the Dr in Dr Pepper.

- The Flagship Hotel on Seawall Boulevard in Galveston is the only hotel in North America built entirely over the water.

- You can get on a highway, drive 70 MPH for 8 hours straight and you know where you'll be? In Texas.

- El Paso is closer to Needles, California than it is to Dallas.

Oh, an did I mention our gun laws? Yeehaw!

HELL ,TEXAS IS TEXASdrinker

Funny, I am leaving. Would leave sooner but won't have the money saved up because your state taxes the hell out of my paycheck leaving me with about 25% taxed out of my paycheck. Now, while this may not hurt people much like yourself that have a career...it kills those of us that are just making it by with what we do have.

With the exception of the 1956 and 2008 presidential elections, Missouri's election results have accurately predicted the next President of the United States since United States presidential election, 1904.

Missouri is the "Show Me State".

But if I could change minnesotas license plates from land of 10,000 lakes I would. It would say "Minnesota- land of 10,000 lakes, 10,000 child molesters, 10,000 welfare recipients, and 6 fish.

rofl rofl drinker drinker drinker

Dunno about the child molesters or the fish, but you hit everything else dead on.
...when level 3 child molesters get out of federal prison many are relocated under a stupid little legal program by the state of minnesota. How about minnesotas drive to collect federal relocation dollars a few years ago bringing in legal immigrants? They moved 6000 hmong refugees to st paul in one day with no room to put them up. What a tax burden joke to the taxpayers. Gave em free homes, free cars, tax free status for five years. F*ck minnesota. Remember that hmong refugee that was caught trespassing while illegally deer hunting in rice lake wisconsin? He took his rifle and killed 5 hunters? One was a child. One was my freind. F*ck minnesota and its wierd liberal crackpot values and bad ideas. They deserve al franken-stein.

No. That is an actual fact. His testimony is that all the people he indeed met in the state of Missouri prefer to call it "Coca Cola." I can't tell he is lying or not. Just seeing what he claimed to be case for him.

I agree, Minnesota makes me laugh a lot, with all the stupidity they have. Its kinda like the south, just better pronunciation.

Minnesota- in the last 20 years has passed its states yearly budget only after the power company shut the lights off each time. Dumb.

I moved here from California, so nothing they can do will ever surprise me, unless they put Normie and Franken both into the senate, just alternating days.

Come on, there are by far more methlabs in Wisconsin. Though I think Arizona has the number 1 seat in methlabs.

The people that I encountered in Missouri all called it ice cold coca cola. If that doesn't apply to everybody in the state, ok. I never would have argued that anyway. But yes, I made an assumption based on personal experience. And Branson isn't a small town, its one of the biggest tourist sites in the state. My experience was the same in both locations.
