He is talking about the Town Hall that Obama had today. I watch all three of the recent town halls. He did say Americans should not be denied coverage etc. But Bored added his own take on being held hostage.

The government needs to stay out of the health care industry as they screw up everything else they try to take control of. If they take control of it what are they going to try and take control of next?

Well that sure isn't what was said here but okay.

The scare tactics used against healthcare reform are ridiculous if anyone would take the time to research it.

Healhcare reform is needed badly and regulating them is a definite by our government.

I still cannot fully support the bill on the table though because of the fine imposed on anyone who opts out of insurance. I just cannot support that.

I believe it can be done still and should be done still though.

What needs to be done is have congress in act a bill that specifically regulates insurance companies in the benefit of the citizens. Then keep politics the **** out of it!

Government regulation was attempted before of the insurance companies and it did not do anything to help. It has to go deeper than that and if the government needs to regulate the whole damn thing then that is what needs to happen.

Actually I knew what you were doing. And it's still disrespectful, and adds nothing to civil dialog.

Insurers are not out for the people they are out for their shareholders and their bottom line. They will find a way around any regulation you put in front of them. Having competition is a good idea.

Let the snake eat its own tail...

Or cut the knot after the manner of alexander.

Insurance companies only NEED the money they charge so they can pay the dole to the right subcomittee...

We need RIGHT NOW drastic change in the way congress is allowed to operate...

and the snake will become a puff of dust... vanishing into history.

We are converting to a socialist state, pull up a chair and get some popcorn, cause there's nothing you can do about it short of an all out revolt. Personally I don't need to be killing anyone, yet.

It'll be at least 2 generations from now before the uprising, probably longer as the conversion to socialism is taking a little longer than usual, but such things happen if you look at history.

Personally, I can stitch my own wounds and take care of my own colds, if I get cancer then let it take me. Why fight with the will of the gods? Enjoy life for now and try not to let it get to you. Putting up with some of the BS that goes along with socialism is a pain in the rear but far worse to die of a stroke from worrying about it. If you aren't ready to take up arms then don't let it bother you.
