Ok I have one more grip, I think this has been the case with a lot of men, when a woman borrows something of the mans and either never returns it or keeps the borrowed item for an extended length of time, this has recently occurred with a female friend of mine, I finally had the item returned to me after almost 3 weeks, this has also occurred with woman I had been in long term relationships with.

I don't feel that just because a person is in a committed relationship that it gives them a right to keep something they have borrowed, even in a marriage you should respect each others personal items.

It seems like woman have this sense of ownership towards a man and entitlement, we may only be men but we also deserve some respect, this should apply to anyone when borrowing, if you borrow something return it in a timely manner.

So you are almost done, now? laugh

I am going to flip this on you......just for the hell of it....

When loaning stuff out, are you all blase and generous, and quite relaxed about it?

you know..." Take your time, use it as long as you like.."

"No hurry for it back."

(secretly gives me an excuse to call around there and pick it up)

( I now have a hook, in her)

I wonder....

Guess I'd have to know what stuff. But I don't think I have much that I'd care if my significant other held on to when i wasn't using it.

Some women want you to come looking for *said item* maybe they have intentions of there own, or maybe they just forgot. Have you asked for the things back, or were you just waiting for them to bring them back when they say they will...

Let her borrow something for protection, until he could buy herself one,her apartment complex had been having a lot of break-ins I know as a fact that she had bought herself a new one and was still keeping mine, and anytime I loan an item I always ask when said item will be returned,I think also if one gives their word one should keep it that goes for men and woman.

1)grip? do U mean gripe? laugh
2)I disagree because I feel both genders are capable of over-extending a borrowed item.It sounds like U need to be more specific when lending something.
3)If I'm in a committed relationship w/a lady I do not worry about her keeping something for an extended period. My only truly concerned items would be my tools w/ are my bread & butter & I'm certain that she would respect & appreciate that.
4)What do U mean by"we are only men"?I'm sensing a serious insecurity problem w/ that comment.Hmmm!

And while you're at it girls, please stop leaving "personal" items in my bathroom when you come over for a "visit" just so you can have an excuse to stop over and "visit" again.
