Topic: Where are the Curvy women admirers?

sorry but what some women claim as curvy i call fat....turn off. hour glass figures have curves, but the OP isn't refering to that,if you consider side views of fat being curvy than maybe a physics major would agree, but doesn't mean he'd date ya

ya but didja ever notice that it's these guys with beer guts and stupid T-Shirts on who insist on having a woman who looks like Megan Fox? good grief.

I am about 10-15 pounds over weight still from being off with an athletic injury - I was about 30lbs over, but even then I got more attention from guys who were thinner while at the same time reading overweight men on the internet saying they wouldn't accept a gal with a few extra pounds. kinda funny really

a lot of time I think it's how the weight is distributed. Some frames can carry a few extra pounds and not look "fat" especially if the person (male or female) is in good athletic condition

and yes, please, don't date me. I prefer a man who likes me as I am. I will continue to lose some weight as I gradually resume my work outs, and as I regain my normal size, I will remember who still liked mt anyway when I was heavier, and I will kick to the curb the guys who r all of a sudden interested now that I am thinner.

Being a few pounds overweight (even tho it was not on purpose) has been an excellent litmus test as far as the integrity of the guys I am meeting - weeds put the shallow ones

I 100% agree with you. if they didn't like me before they're sure not going to have me after i look "good"

It's societies fault why we have "standards" as to what were are "supposed" to look like. We should be happy with what and who we are.

For me the issue is squashing. I don't want a woman to squash me if she sits in my lap.

Ok why not...I'll put my 2 cents in and see what happens.

I like women of all shapes and sizes. My standards when it comes to how a woman is shaped is not as strict as most. This to me is a bonus....as that there are more proverbial fish in the sea for me to choose from, which in turn, doesnt have me relying on my left hand for a change in the acdtion every now and again.

What I tend to go for more are the "not so skinny" girls. Reason being, (ok gonna get a little personal here so please dont get offened), is that I'm all about being tough and rough in the sac. Most skinny girls Ive been with end up not being able to handle that for very long. The curvy, thick, whatever you want to call them girls seem to be the freaks in bed as well. And I'm def a freak.

Now with that being said....what I see as fat and what I see are curvy are two different things. And whats really a turn off for me, is a big girl, who's blinded by her "I'm overweight and dont care" confindence that she doesnt see the health risks involved. And I'm not just talking about 10 to 20 lbs....I'm talking 50+ lbs over weight. I understand that life is sometimes a ***** and you cant control what happens to your body. But by all means, at least be activly trying to improve yourself. If your not, I see that as being lazy, and thats no good.

....and to not sound like I'm just harping on the ladies. Guys need to do the same. Dont expect that super model if you yourself sport a beer gut and cant run a mile without weezing.

It takes a lot of courage, confidence, and most of will power to try and be healthy. No matter what size you are, if you have that drive, thats a major turn on for me.

thanks J - I have similar feelings regarding the male gender - I don't have a particular picky-fussy archetype I won't budge from. I've dated the maintenance man and the guy at the bank...skinny, not so skinny, athletic, not so athletic, etc etc

It's all in the "spark" of attraction - similar to your interesting description of a "tumble." That's gotta be there. Good post J

r u pregnant? Yanno, when I was pregnant with my youngest son, I actually lost enuff weight in childbirth and breastfeeding that I was thinner than B4 my pregnancy within a month to 6 weeks time. Usually, you will lose weight fairly rapidly at first, the last 10 lbs or so are a little more work

with my last little guy, I just got lucky I guess! Plus we were very active in that I was constantly on the go with a house full of kids.

indeed - the mingle curvy women sorority!drinker

but for thin women, I think we should welcome them in too. A lot of men really like thinner ladies - really I think as long as someone's weight is reasonably healthy - within 10-15 pounds one way or the other for their frame, AND they r happy with their looks - ya w/e - life goes on

yes, I have seen that happen to for women who were overweight when they became pregnant, the pregnancy somehow achieved an equilibrium for them weight-wise. Pregnancy takes a lot of energy to maintain health for 2 people- prolly why an overweight woman will lose some

Everyone has their preferences. I'm not a skinny girl, but I do work out and am working on making myself healthier. Some guys are fine with it, some guys are not. I'm not going to get mad at the ones who are not, though.
