so, ur saying,, she isnt curvy..lol IM CONFUSED!!

She had what is considered normal therefore not described as "curvy". So she is normal and curvy is more than that. At least that was my understanding.

So what is a curve?
I met a lady one and fell in love with her and every woman since has been compared to a wonderful lady. I went my way and she went hers. She was first loved kiss and all isses are now measured by a dream of love. I thought that she was curvy and gorgeous, that is how she is in my dreams and how I saw her then, the photgraphs tell a different story, but she is still measured as my first love.

Right, as if curvy women are in someway, shape, or form different than any other woman.

Ah, the "why don't guys like chubby girls" re-post again...

well...

...its all about self-esteem.

And I've posted in these chubby girl threads before, then gotten several dozen "who's viewed you's" of shy chubby girls, who think there is actually hope in the world for chubby girls...

Actually... I look for peace of mind before I look for physique. I would sort of skew your research because I am in no way looking, nor will I most likely ever be looking, for romance here or any other place anytime in the near to distant future.

It is the American Hollywood cultural ideals that make women think they either are no good if they are a few pounds over, or compel them to do the finger-down-the-throat, even if they are like 85 pounds and 5'10" tall...

If size is all that matters to you, then please do not get old. Because the older you get, the more them boobies are going to start sagging, and if you based your initial romance on fake boobs, and false images, then its going to end up in disaster... ir, divorce rates sky-rocketing in the U.S... my view is that it is because too many people are addicted to television and movies, and in those artistic media genres, (for the most part) there is a controlled radius of only thin, "beautiful" people being set in front of a camera... shows you how shallow the typical American cultural opinion has become...

PERCEPTION of one's surrounding world seems to rule the ego and the self-image of both sexes... and with a society that spends hours and hours in front of, or with the television set mindlessly blaring to an empty room... one might consider the population of the survey before assessing the total aspects of all humankind...

Looks may be very deceiving... its been my observation that most culturally acceptable "beautiful" people are also keeping up with trends that mask who they really are, both physically, and more importantly emotionally and psychologically.

When we are old, and holding hands in a wheel chair, do we then prejudice our decisions of life partner by Hollywood's cultural databank?

No...

If I were looking at all, it would be for the girl that is my best buddy, who I can talk to like I talk to my men friends, and as easily so, who loves me for who I am, faults and blemishes included... because to me this is much more honest of an evaluation... than simply looking at bulging biceps and curvaceous cleavages.... in our youth, we have the sexual thing... but as the years wage on and the war of our flesh pounces into the times ahead, just give me a friend, over some kind of sex fiend only interested in a cabana boy for a quick sexual encounter...

I will speak from experience here... sex with my buddy girl, by best buddy, who knows me inside and out... blows away ANY one night stands thrown together because of simple physical attraction...

You have to get around the falseness of people, and the culturally-nurtured prejudices of the "Hollywood Idealism"... that "-ism" is damn near a religion to some... perhaps many... but in my opinion, shallow and tasteless... of which I would prefer to avoid...

Where is an O? That is a deep sided hourglass with curves on every part.

That is what I was told by men is a curvy woman. I guess you will have to take it up with them if you think that it is wrong.

I am a (everyone elses labels here of course) curvy, chunky, thick, BBW, voluptuous, etc... woman with no problems being all that and more. B-itch occasionally too but hey who isn't...lol

I am sexy as hell because sexy comes from the inside of a person and I feel damn sexy all the time. Men really like the confidence I have and my way about me. I have never had any problems attracting or keeping men. My problem has always been my choices of men is not a good one for me.

But sexy can be in any form, it is an attitude, not a physical quality. It has nothing to do with the clothes you wear or the amount of makeup you wear. I comes from the inside. I am comfortable with myself and I enjoy my sexuality to it's fullest and people feel it.

I happen to have known some extremely sexy men who were not the "norm" for handsome looks or whatever society says but they would knock your socks down. It is all about attitude.

Positivity, confidence, enjoying life and our bodies in this life, laughing, playing, etc... all attitudes and all exuded from us when we are in the room. People sense this stuff. If you are a pessimist, downer, cup is half empty kinda person, people will sense it and will steer clear if they can help it. That includes the opposite sex.

I was always under the impression that curvy meant hourglass figure or what some would call "barbie doll" figures ohwell

I don't get, though, why people make threads as this and separate one group from others. people like who they like. there are people that like all sorts of looks. one groups grass isn't greener than the others. one group isn't more important or somehow more worthy than anotherohwell

I'm still confused on what "curvy" actually is..

I think it varies, depending on who's doing the talking, or complaining...

women have curves unless they are the lean athletic type..generally. I have a friend who puts curvy in her profiles on dating sites and she's actually overweight..and should put "a few extra pounds"
and I have heard guys say that if the profile says curvy then they pretty much figure she's overweight...so I'm confused.

its never mattered whether i was overweight under or optimal...ive always had curves...theres no losing these hips breasts and donk and thats the way i like it...thin or thick. i used to be ashamed of my hourglass figure when i was a ballerina...then i realized how much prettier i was because of it...plus theres nothing like a man appreciating every dip and curvedrool
