LewisW123 is right.
Prejudice is prejudice.

Pssssst.
I don't think Olga is Italian.

Noooo, Olga was the first Polish woman's name I could come up with. Maybe her name was Helga or Wilma, I don't know! Anyhow, in my case, yes I'm opening up, here. I was with an Aussie, I'll never pursue a relationship with an Aussie again. But then again, that's my preference.

Ahhh.
That explains it.
An Aussie.
Did she try to throw .. something of yours on the barB?

laugh Actually no, but she did steal half of my stuff when she moved out. That accent was so cute at the beginning, but I eventually either got used to it or tired of it. She also became very agressive, and had an angry personality, she became full of herself, and said "Aussies do what we want, f**k all." Kept wanting to move back there, in the end I said, "Fine, Go!" God bless America.laugh
SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
you have this wrong . she left her half she only took her stuff

People of the same nationality may have some things in common, cultural backgrounds, beliefs, even certain personality quirks.
But for the most part people are people and they are all different.

Easy to say now, but if you had been divorced from lets say an Irish woman, would you be so quick to fall in love again with another Irish woman, knowing what you know now from the last one, make you the least bit biased, or would you maybe try something different in the way of preference? Perhaps it wouldn't matter, we're all different. Just asking as a matter of opinion.

How do you blame a whole nation of people for something one person did? Really? You don't think that's a bit paranoid, for loss of a better word?

You would be surprised. People do. Ever eat bad potato salad and then not want to eat potato salad for a while? A metaphor, true enough, but some people think that way. It's not really "blaming" per se, anyway, it's going in a different direction.

If it kept happening with many different people of the same nationality perhaps, because then you'd be inclined to assume "that's just how they are." I thought you meant after just one bad experience. But yes, if 50 people of the same nationality exhibited the same exact undesirable behavior, I'd be off them permanently.

No, I strongly believe individuals are all uniquely defined by their own PERSONAL experiences, environment, and opportunities. No large group of people is responsible for EVERY character trait of each individual who is a part of that group. We are human first and therefore fallable, but the only way to get to know if someone is a good match is to get to know the individual instead of assuming you know them based on some category they belong to.

Yes, but what about a man from a nation that women are treated disrectfully? My experience has been that, although they are educated, there is still a little of that still there. It happened twice, with the same nationality. So, am thinking, nope, not again.

Would you pursue a relationship with that nationality but a different person, again? Do we have a mindset about what certain nationalities have in the way of personalities, and how they coexist with us in a relationship? Or do you write off that nationality because of how hurt you were by that breakup?

Yes I would pursue another relationship. Nationality has nothing to do with it. Although, I don't go looking for the same. My preference is out side of american women. But thats another thread.

I agree, some cultures have certain values that other cultures find unacceptable, so it's best to avoid them.

My prefered person goes with this map. The lighter the blue color is, the more preferable.

(democracy index - lighter means more democratic)

Basically anyone growing up in an environment where human rights are more respected, the more chances that you gonna date a sane person.

If YOU hold the THOUGHTS,,,,,that ANY NATIONALITY or RACE or BREED
of HUMAN BEING,,,,is YOUR REASONING to KNOW THEM or MAKE THEIR CULTURE YOURS?

Then YOU hold THAT GROUP higher in your chain of reasoning and interests.....NOW THATS ALL your choice....to do.

But to me and many herehave also said.

ONE person from ANY walk of life or nation,,,CANNOT BE THAT NATIONS
ALL ROUND SPOKES PERSON, for the rest...

I WANT,,for the PERSON'S WHOLE BEING,,inside and out..

If I fell in-love for twenty years with a Japaneese woman, and we then parted., I would not let HER WAYS, turn my attentions to TRY AND FIND ANOTHER HER...

I would STILL want only to find ANY lady who made me feel her love.
