Let's say if you'd be in a relationship, or in your past relationships, what annoyed you the most? Did you tell him or her that something particularly annoyed you or you just kept going on and trying to cope with it without telling? Being wrong all the time and her having the audacity to prove it. Ever tried to argue with someone and their reasoning made sense. I mean how do you save face. After I concluded that she was just too good for me the second divorce to her worked better. She divorced me the first time but I got even with her the second time because I divorced her. Yeah, see how you like being divorced. Yup. I have to agree that marriage is the main reason for divorce. I mean I just couldn't win. We did break even though so atleast there is that consolation. Happy divorce day.

i'm gonna take this a different direction. the op seemed to be
asking about whether you discuss what is bothering you or just let it go. i think it is best to discuss. letting it go - even if it is a minor thing builds resentment which eventually earthquake like breaks loose. let out the steam in little increments. minor and even major differences or issues are overcome all the time when there is sincere caring. nurture the caring. help the ones you love. be understanding of their flaws and eccentricities. enjoy the differences between individuals. work around any incompatibilities. it is almost valentines day. so show some love.

I'd have to say not telling me when I'm doing something that annoys my partner. I don't always know that I'm doing something wrong or inconsiderate if it's not brought to my attention (and doing it during a breakup doesn't help anyone). That's not to say that I'm willing to change everything I do for someone else, but I can only make that choice when I know that something is wrong.
