After 19 yrs together the one I loved as much now as I did when we first met has ripped a hole in my heart. Now I lay here wondering when will the pain go away and that feeling of being in love will ever come to fill the hole in my heart

Yea...it'll get better with time, and the right attitude! I been through it 2 times, and I'm still kicking-it!
Sometimes you just have to learn to "let go"...if the love is gone on her end of things, you can't force it! Not saying these things to be harsh...just a fact of life! I felt the same things your feeling now, two times, and it don't get any easier, the more times you go through it. Good luck to you, and I do wish you well in your endeavor to fill that vacancy in your heart! Just My Opinion!!

I feel your pain, I was kicked to the curb after 17 yrs of marriage. It wasn't the best marriage but it was home. The first 6-8 wks were like a vacation. After about 2 months I started 'chasing it down'.
Bad Bad Move. Take some time to heal, take a good look at yourself, rebuild your life a bit, get good and comfy with things the way they are. Then think about dating.......My suggestion is 6 months to a yr. Do some social activities with groups, learn to go out and do the things you like to do by yourself. Good Luck |

after 14 years of marriage i wasn't enough anymore...I just had the attitude that he was just a stepping stone. I kept a lil notebook of what i want in next relationship, what i won't put up with, and a list of things i needed to change about me.
I held on tight to my friends, stayed busy. And I took a lot of road trips, they are great for thinking, grieving,and finding yourself again. And time heals all wounds. it's been a year for me, I met a great guy and moved in with him 2 months ago. funny I don't even remember loving my ex. good luck |

Time does heal all. My suggestion to is that you get over this woman before you ever start another relationship OR you are always going to have baggage. Always put past relationships IN the past!

Ya know if it is 1 year or 19 years it hurts like hell when it happens. Only time will heal the wounds........
As well as another that will make you totally forget the one that ripped it out......... Just take time the time you need alone and make sure your ready to be with another........
