TS it's unfortunate that you've learned nothing from Mingle... there are so many people that have knowledge, experiences to learn from.. So many that aren't negative or gender bashers... You'd think you'd notice that and formulate your opinion about women based on multiple venues...

I know women on there from Texas and I've never ever seen them man bash.... Maybe you need to hang out in different places... Maybe "where" you go is the problem...

Learn here? ROFL I've often tried to gain insights here, but it always fails. The vast majority of posters take things too personally to to be able to actually understand the heart of any questions I may ask. They'd rather tell me how screwed up I am than address my questions. Or they make some stupid joke about it.

It's like asking a believer if they really believe in the talking snake and the virgin birth. They know how foolish it sounds to say they believe it so asking about it is rude.

I disagree but again we're dealing with you generalizing.... not all know the best way or have the best solutions but many have great insight... Again, I'm respecting my fellow human which is not something a lot do... So many think "their way of thinking is the only way" or "what they feel no one else has experienced".... Realizing that the universe doesn't revolve around us individually takes "self-realization".... Hard concept I know....

I'll admit that I talk about my exs....can be fun laugh But not men in general unless it's joking around (and that is when a guy is within ear shot) laugh

The only thing I say about men as a group is "Men are from Mars and women from Venus"... I've found it to be true.. A woman can say one thing and a man just doesn't get it.. Does that make him bad? NO.. I means things don't mean the same thing to each gender... Every once in a while, you'll meet a guy that "gets women" but it's very rare and even rarer that he's not gay... Any way you put it, we all have our pluses no matter man or woman and none of us would be anything in the end without the other...

 I feel my exs deserve a good bashing  and if they were there, I'd tell them what I think too...they earned it

But I know not all men are that way too....so......I leave them alone unless I'm joking around

I can't tell you how many times I've been on a first date with a woman over about 32 where she was asking me about my future plans on getting married before the food even arrived. What? I just met you. Don't you think we should get to know each other a little before we talk about that?

So much baggage, so much bullheadedness, so much bad attitude. They blame every problem in their lives on some man or on men in general. And seem to be looking for another man to solve them. I'm sick of it.

I never get that kind of BS from women in their late teens and early 20s. The young ones look better, are more fun and don't give me nearly as much grief. They don't nag or complain and they aren't looking for a man to replace the one that left them. Sure, there are a few maturity issues, but it's not nearly as bad as the crap I've dealt with from more mature women. In other words, it's worth the effort because the rewards are better.

I wonder where the middle ground is here,,, if middle aged men are looking for teens who basically wont have any expectations from them , and middle aged women (like myself) are looking for like minded adults,,,,, I find alot of the younger men who 'talk' to me are interested in physical or sexual attributes right off the bat,, probably just as often as 'middle aged women' are interested in your long term intentions right off the bat

so if middle aged women dont interest middle aged men and arent interested in someones baby,,,,where does that leave us,,frustrated

Ditto...

and if what you're getting is what you want then go for it, I personally wouldn't but if it works for you fine. But really trying to put the problem off on the women and not accepting your own part in admitting it's just what you want, well then I will continue to feel sorry for you and where you are likely heading. As I said before fool yourself, but no one else here is buying it.

Come on guys.

Think about it for a second.

What better way to get an " ego stroke " than to go out and weave a line of ******** that has the little girlies shucking their jeans in short order. What better way to make you feel better about your wrinkled *** than to be able to talk a girlie into the sack?

After all...the best victims are the ones who can't see through all the ********.

It doesn't matter how it's " justified " in your own head. It is what it is.

An ego stroke.

Nothing more.

I kinda feel sorry for him

I'm middle age.... I think

if he dosnt like me or my kind. That's ok

if the young ones like him. Make him feel good.

There's nothing wrong with that really. To each his own

it's the grouping of all middle age women as the same that upsets me a wee bit!

This thread seems to be moving really fast. I've not read but the first page and page 17 - and it looks like you (TS) are under attack for expressing your views/opinions. If we take them at face value, I see nothing wrong with them - everyone is different.

A lot of people seem convinced you are looking for woman without functioning BS detectors, but based on what I've observed, the smart young women have better BS filters than some of the not-so-smart older women. I think its ageist to assume that young women can't detect BS, and that older women can.

I think some of the criticism you are getting is born out of jealously - many older women feel threatened by younger women, and one way they respond is by demonizing any guy so interested.

TS, I mostly agree with what you wrote on the first page. Most single women in their thirties are so marriage oriented, its very hard to find someone who is willing to relax in a non-marriage-focused relationship. Since thats what I want, its much easier to find this in the under 25s.

Also it seems to me that women with the qualities that I desire get married by their late 20s. So I have to choose between a larger number of unmarried early-20s women with the minds and hearts that I'm attracted to - and the scarce few older women who have those qualities but for some reason are not currently married.

Since I'm coming into this conversation "mostly on TS' 'side' ", I want to be clear that I am not age-prejudiced. I have known a rare few women as old as their 50s who had the spirit, heart, and mind that I'm attracted to. I dated one such women in her 40s, and I would definitely have dated more if other circumstances of our lives had made that realistic.

All I'm saying is, finding unmarried women in this age group with those qualities is a challenge; finding unmarried women under 25 with those qualities is much more realistic; not because younger women are more likely to have those qualities - they are just less likely to be married!
