False...marriage is a license for them to take HALF of everything you own  I beg to defer!! After 21 years of marriage to the same man I left with my car that I paid for & my clothes. Completely started over on my own. TYVM

I've never been married, but if after that event comes and I someday find myself divorced, I will feel that the marriage not working out is MY failure, no matter the circumstances.

Marriage is like a licence to have sex thereby legalising a relationship intended to create some law n order, thus dissociating ourselves from animal type sexual behaviour. TRUE OR FALSE false. No one needs a piece of paper to have sex. Marriage can be based on different things: emotional, spiritual, legal, etc. There are people that are married that rarely have sex, as well as there are married couples that act like animals. Marriage doesn't give anyone permission or a license for what happens in the private life behind closed doors. |

I've had a lot going on since the split up & put the divorce on the back burner. Last attempt at a divorce I wasn't notified & failed to appear for the hearing & it was dismissed. Just haven't put the effert in to file again. It's not like I plan to remarry anytime soon if ever. Been so long I forget that legally we're still married on paper. |

 Well, that's my definition.  There are just no words to describe it. And anyone that knows me can affirm I'm not one to scrimp on words. But I couldn't presume to tell you what it is since I haven't experienced it. I'm outta this debate.
