The only difference between like and love is the emotion poured and expressed. LIKE makes you feel good but LOVE makes you feel like you are invincible. If you have LOVE ( true love ) in your life, then you are one lucky person.

I think like is a limited type of detached appreciation for random things about a person. Love, however, is a limitless vested appreciation for the person themself.

This is very true. Ex .. you LOVE love your family because they are blood and bonded to you in ways no one else is, BUT you may not LIKE yawn someone IN your family .. ie would not find it fun to go anywhere with them, don't get along with them, have nothing in common.

Also, I love my children unconditionally smitten and always, but I'll tell ya once in a while I won't LIKE one of them for the way they are acting devil HA HA (only once in a while mind you) smokin

First comes the crush. That's where there's an initial attraction to someone. It's not serious and could go away if they do something you really don't like.

Then comes "like". You get to know them more and you like being with them and talking with them.

Then comes that stage where you are falling in love. This is the most fun part and you should enjoy it while still keeping your head (harder to do than it seems....I would know)

Eventually you love someone and decide you want to stay with them and work out any problems that may come up and try to build a life together.

That's putting it a little simplistically, I guess. Emotions like love are rarely simple.
