The tax only applies to businesses that have 10 or fewer employees with an average salary of 25k or less. Which means this tax cut doesn't apply to very many businesses at all and the 3.5 million number is actually just a made up number to placate those who already support Obama.

Greater fuel economy means more traffic fatalities. CAFE standards have also greatly raised the cost of owning a car and raised the number of cars that are junked. Modern cars a too fragile to last the test of time, but cars built of sturdy materials can be kept running indefinitely with little effort.
