This is not a fair question. You need to take into consideration different genres and different generations. That said, the only logical answer is KISS.

When it comes to heavy metal for me, it certainly is Led Zeppelin.

Yep your right in one respect you have to take genres etc, into consideration and it's all about opinions but Kiss? What genre do they come under. Pantomime??

Admittedly, they aren't musical geniuses by any means, but they put on a better show than anyone else, and their music isn't bad. Actually, the music is good, but their lyrics, especially in the early days, needed help. Best number of bands, I think, would be more fun and thought provoking.

Never saw Kiss live so I couldn't comment on them live but my sister saw them years ago and wasn't impressed. If you are talking of showmen (Or women for that matter), "THERE's ONLY ONE FREDDIE MERCURY"!!I saw them (Queen)in 1982. AWESOME

I never saw Queen, but I do know they were notorious for a great show. I stand by my original statement that this isn't a fair question. Some people like Iron Maiden, some like the Kinks. Some people like Diamond Rio, others like the Backstreet Boys. Some people like Nirvana, and some like the Beach Boys. Then you have some who like all of it.

That whole genre passed me by but my brother was an art student and he was in to all that kind of stuff. He got me into The Wedding Present!
