Got a less biased site than Glenn Beck's site? This also doesn't tell me the answer to my question. Are the employers who are laying off people because of health care actually paying their employees enough to afford health care?

You kill me with complaints if biased sites.

Or you can google
companies laying off in 2012
I'm not going to cut and paste them all.

Considering too that a Republican site on Facebook posted a post encouraging all conservative business owners to lay off one employee who voted for Obama preferably in order to make a point against the president, I would think they might be doing it for other reasons than because of a financial difficulty.

But I sure do hope that voters remember this type of thing too as it is very Non American worker and supporter to even suggest such a thing during a recession.

On another site, people are talking about how employers should lay off liberals. There are several people saying they've never hired liberals and won't be doing so in the future. They actually want to see liberals lose their jobs. How sad. Then, of course, they will complain when people are on unemployment.

I love how people think I'm and Obama supporter. No thanks... He's one of the many things ruining our country right now.

Do what you can to help yourself. Stay in school and get a bachelors degree in something that will help you get a good job. I'm not sure that an associates degree in theater is going to do that right now with this job market.

Excuse me, but if you read my profile properly, I'm also a nanny and a caretaker. I have over eight years of experience in theatre, and have connections. Getting a job after college doesn't concern me, because I have several people that would hire me if I approached them. I'm not an actress, I'm into technical theatre. I can branch out into entertainment, media, and newswork. Don't just assume that those going into theatre or non-business or non-science fields are going to fail.

I work hard for what I have, and have no credit cards. I've bought and paid for my own car, and pay my own rent. Something many adults can't say they've done/can do. I pay my bills, and pay for my healthcare when I need it. Don't act like you know everything.

For one that is against the law.
And that's not why the companies in the OP are doing it.

I live in a very small town. The problem here is that nobody wants to work.

You can get a job at Loaf n Jug, Loves, a grain elevator, the schools, the hospital, the dollar store, Al Co, etc. You can rent an apartment pretty cheap here too.

None of them are very high paying jobs, probably don't have good benefits either.

LOL surprisingly yes, and usually pretty high paying ones since smarter seems to breed liberalism.

The smartest people I have met were liberals.

Some of the stupidest people I have met were liberals as well. No point made. And to say that intelligence breeds liberalism... That's simply ignorance. Political views have nothing to do with intelligence.

I actually agree. The smarter a person is, the less grunt work they do for others, and the more they work for themselves.

Sometimes. that working for yourself includes a lot of grunt work. Not everyone can do what I do. It's hard and heavy.

I to, am in a small town filled with lazy liberals.

There on main, stand a dozen or so, messicans looking for day work. They won't work for me. I pull up and they shake their fingers. Word got around that I supervise and expect labor to git done.

I have one skinny, midget, talkative messican I can rely on when I need a hand. And one mostly blind one with a strong back that will swing a pick all day long.

PS.
If I find a Barry voter, I will pass them by.

Companies are giving notices to employees that they will be layed off.
Because of the impending taxes and costs of the affordable healthcare act companies are laying people of in droves.
Way to go America.

In my state the big news is that we are adding jobs. Guess it depends on 1 your source and 2 what we are doing for the positive to get things back on track after many years of taking our sites collectively off the target. Last month I fired 2 people for being negative and non-productive and hired one person to replace them that does the work of both and better. So it depends on your point of view I guess. My view is if I have the better worker on the job it will help my company to stay focused and hire more good people sooner than later instead of standing still or even losing ground with the people who didn't care to do quality.

I think its stupid to separate people into groups like "liberals" and "conservatives" and then have the audacity to think you can tell them apart just by by looking at them.

It was just a joke on a ridiculous stereotype stigma.

Doing grunt work for yourself is fine. Doing it for poor wages for someone else is not so fine.

I know some smart conservatives, but I also know some very stupid ones as well. Some who are ignorant enough to even be racist and bigoted in 2012. I don't see that nearly as much from liberals.
