'As of today, 30 states are actively signing petitions to secede.

Texas has over 60,000 signatures.

Each state needs 25,000 signatures before Washington will consider and either give or decline secession.

Another petition, requiring 25,000 signatures, asks the president to strip all petitioners of their citizenship and exile them from the USA. Currently, that petition has over 6.000 signatures.

Interesting twist from the left.

W.H. Petition Calls for Stripping Citizenship and Exile for Anyone Who Signs Petition to Secede

A White House petition gathering force calls for citizenship to be stripped and exile for anyone who signs a petition in favor of a state’s secession.

“Mr. President, please sign an executive order such that each American citizen who signed a petition from any state to secede from the USA shall have their citizenship stripped and be peacefully deported,” the full petition reads.

The title of the petition is, “WE PETITION THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION TO: Strip the Citizenship from Everyone who Signed a Petition to Secede and Exile Them.”

As of this writing, 2,205 have signed the petition; 22,795 more signatures are needed for the issue to be addressed by the White House.

Does the left really want to go down this road? Are we living in a dictatorship? This can only happen in the old USSR or China.

Let us understand this, it is O K to give illegal immigrants citizenship (amnesty) and then strip away citizenship from those who are U.S. Citizens?

Let’s see how far this petition goes. Is this the new National Anthem of the democratic party?

UPDATE!

'Spreading like WILDFIRE !!

At the time of writing this article, individuals from 33 states have filed similar petitions calling for secession.

The “We, the People” program includes a “create a petition” tab on the White House website. The explanation of the site claims that "if a petition gets enough support," — more than 25,000 signatures within 30 days — the "White House staff will review it, ensure it's sent to the appropriate policy experts, and issue an official response." The Houston Chronicle reported that “shortly after 2:30 p.m. Central time on Monday, the [Texas] petition passed that threshold.”

Since that report, Louisiana’s petition has also crossed the 25,000 signature threshold.

whats the problem? if those people are no longer WANTING to be part of America,,,I dont see it as being exile, its granting their request

I think it would be more unfair to strip the hundreds of thousands of others who have NOT signed such a petition of their part in america because of a minority of voices in their state,,,,

I dont want to see any states go, for whatever is going on now, all the states have benefitted greatly from federal involvement over the years,,,,

I see this as similar to the segregationist proposals to send africans 'back' after they had already put blood sweat and tears into the america those segregationists were enjoying

,,but on a lighter note,, similar petitions americans have come together to support

Legallize crystal weed 395 signatures

force states to pay their portion of debt before allowing secession
1275 signatures

have the president attend a Fark party or have a beer with Drew Curtis 535 signatures

Remove God from currency and pledge of allegiance 2828 signatures

make election day a federal holiday 6638 signatures

grant austin the right to withdraw from Texas and remain part of US

Its a tantrum.

They have been doing that same tantrum for quite a while now.

I find a hard time believing that it means anything. By the way, does anyone actually have a list of states?

That is so stupid.

Citizenship to what? The corporation of the United States of America?

That would still not strip a person from being a natural born American.

If they are born here in America, they can't be exiled. This is their country.

America does not belong to THE CROWN or THE COMPANY or the "CORPORATION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA."

We are NATIVE AMERICANS, all who were born here.
