When a woman is beautiful most men what's to date her just for her beauty. A beautiful woman with good character is indeed a hot cake any reasonable man will want to keep her. When a woman is only beautiful most men will prefer an ugly woman with good character.

What evidence have you got to back up that claim?

I would have to agree. I have been cleaning the house all day except some solitaire game breaks. The real beauty was what was under all the dirt and clutter. I think that could go with beauty is only skin deep. If a woman is only beautiful under the skin I would hate to have to skin her to find out.

I don't know man. "Ugly" is a pretty strong word. My ex girlfriend said about herself that she was fat and ugly but she wasn't that bad and I fancied her. What do you mean by ugly? If a woman was really hideousI don't think that I would take her over the beautiful one, no matter how good her character was.

SOME men really preffers beautiful AND sexy woman. The hell, when we die we are just the same....SKULL. Now is that beautiful? Ugly is not really that hideous, it is the term that we used when we are not beautiful nor pretty, have pimples, pimple marks, acne..etc.

Honestly though...I've met people who may be 'ugly' by most standards, but their inner light shines through and makes them so beautiful.
Their beauty comes from their inner goodness, and the way they talk, treat others, and carry themselves.

well this may sound redundant
But i think it is a matter of which head they let do their thinking ?
I like a woman who visually appeals to me in some way ?
Eyes, legs, cute smile or any number of other reasons
But i am 51 and this does play some part in my romantic inter actions as well
I am not that hunky studly "Beautiful" man
So i try to think in some kind of realistic terms
And look deeper for the things that really matter
"Gorgeous AND admirable" are out of my league i think

{admittedly i LOVE to look at "beautiful" women}
But "Beautiful" is such a multifaceted word...

I agree with Kik beauty is a very multifacited word. What is beautiful to one person is a turn off to another. In my opinion true beauty comes from with in . . If you dont love yourself your never gonna believe someone else can love you.

a physically beautiful man can become ugly in my eyes very quickly to where I do not find him at all attractive, if he is not a good person.

I have had that happen more than once.

There are a lot of different kinds of attractive in terms of a man's looks. fortunately :)

gives me more options
