What is the hardest thing you've ever done? For me right now its tough love with my oldest son tried it before but I'm finally sticking to it. It's very hard but I've enabled him and it has to stop

Survived...Holy Jesus, I should have been dead at least a dozen times by my count.

Hell of a ride, I'd do it again in a heartbeat.smokin

Id have to say tough love too,,

I always prefer to see my kids 'happy' but not at the cost of leading them down the wrong path or encouraging them in taking the wrong path or making a bad choice,,,

thats love, we sacrifice a little in the moment to spare alot of unnecessary grief in the long run,,,

The last hardest thing I had to do, was holding my friends hand while she took her last breath 3/1/2013. After battling Cancer for two years she lost the fight...Her daughters are taking her ashes this weekend to Port Aranasas this weekend to spread her ashes...She always wanted to go to the beach...

RIP Becky Mouser....gone but not forgotten..

The hardest thing i have had to do was watching my daughter deliver her still born son, and helping her make arrangements to have him creamated.

I am so understand how hard and devastating it is too watch a loved die.

Last October I watched my 32 year old niece die of cancer. Along with that watching her four year old son crying for his Mother and trying to wake her up was the hardest thing I have ever done.

What is the hardest thing you've ever done?

Telling my 9-year-old son that his mother had died. That was 3 years ago.

Loss of a loved one....i think its the hardest thing to be part of/witness/go through!!

As pkh said...
I too,am so sorry for all such pain!!

With time,it becomes a dull ache...not going away, but recognised and embraced.....

Pam, I have had to do the tough love thing with my son as well......I assure you they will not only grow from it but it will be the best thing in the long run for you both....

I could not ask for a better son then I have now....We are very close he knows when the getting gets rough I will be there for him... as I do with him...

It is hard sticking with it but....don't give in just tell him how much ya love him but it's time to stand on his own... He will thank you down the road and make you proud!
