I disagree. You wouldn't believe some of the stuff they were getting up to in ancient Greece. There was this cult that used to go around having sex orgies and stuff. Anything went with them, snakes you name it. Imagine that, living for pleasure. We don't know the meaning of the word.

Many people know the meaning of the word Misty....just that not all of us are looking for that! It's a person's preference and choice. Seduction isn't necessary if two souls meet and have a lot in common, are on the same wave length, and are truly loving and respectful of one another....the rest comes very naturally and easily! Hi there G.

To my mind there are two types of men that attract me. One, I feel a connection right away. The other kind of grows on you. I suspect that this one might be the latter.

My ex has great hair. He told me that if he ever started to go bald he would shave his head. But that is not very like to happen.

Now this guy has amazing blue eyes. But he has this awful comb over. I'm really tempted to take a razor to his head.

All jokes aside...& since I know more of the details *wink*...I'm wondering...do you really want to be seduced...or romanced...& is there a difference between the two?

 I'm with Phuque on this one, which is it?...Personally, I want to be romanced...Even more to the point, I can't be seduced until I'm romanced...Just the way I roll kitties and catnips....bigsmile

I don't think women seduce more than men, I just think they do it differently....Sad state of affairs D !!...To never be romanced by a woman...and at your age too!!surprised ...Never had a woman cook you a special meal, treat you to a night on the town, model new lingerie or a new bikini for you, give you a full body massage, send you flowers, buy you something special, strip for you?...That's really sad baby!sad2

.. see you just made my point.. the modeling lingerie.. the stripping.
. does that not fall under the guidance of seduction..
.. the cooking of the dinner.
. taking one out to a movie..
. flowers.. does that not fall under the guidance of romance..?..
.. and to quote.. Lucas.. in a far far galaxy.. a long long time ago.
I. vaguely.. remember someone doing.. these things you speak of.

Romance can be little things as well...he could volunteer to do the dishes...or she could detail his car. But, yes...I agree...the lingerie or stripping seems more like seduction...

.. time..yes running out..
. the hourglass is emptying before my eyes... my dear Fair Lady..
.. I am in no way bitter.
. I have tasted the fruit from the tree of life..
. in some instances I have had more than my fair share...
.. life is but a journey.
. we choose to go it alone..
. are we seek out the companionship.
.. of our mirror self's..
.. I only wish.. and my only wish..
..Is before the hourglass runs out...
. that I may look upon the sweetness of your face.
.. before the last grain.. tumbles down.and finds a resting place.
. amongst the other sands of time...

I guess stripping or modeling lingerie could be either depending on the outcome...But for me, romancing my guy means doing all the things for him that I know will please him...Seduction for me means doing things that I know (or hope) will lead to having sex....

The art of seduction .. Child's play

To a degree I agree with this.

At one time, I had the...attributes. And, pure seduction is easy enough if you have enough high heels, lingerie, and pouty lips.

That, and the male equivalent, works on most.

But, others here have made a point that shouldn't be ignored. Not everyone is interested in run of the mill seduction.

And, as you get older, more thought has to be put into it.

The romance becomes more important.

It becomes less about making yourself seem attractive, and more about making the other person feel desirable.

In fact, I think it is always about making the other person feel desirable.

That is not child's play. Not in the long term, anyway.
