Isn't it true that. We control our own emotions? (In reference you guys that think that statement is false),it's the same as saying someone make you mad,but in reality,YOU chose to get mad based on what they said or done,just my opinion!

I don't know why people on dating sites are always going on about how they don't need somebody else to make them happy unless it's because they think that saying that and believing it will make them more atractive to the opposite sex. Maybe it's something that they say because it helps them to cope with being single. If you do get emotionally involved with someone though you give them the power over you to make you feel good or bad.

You think that you can control your emotions? True to a certain extent but there would have to be something wrong with you if you weren't touched by certain things and couldn't help the way that you felt about them.

I guess some people need others to be happy. personally its a mixture of being my own happiness and others making me happy...

Besides, self-awareness is pretty much the personal path to any emotion, and being that all emotions are temporal one could say that only you can force yourself to feel anything.

If I lived life thinking that today would be my last... that would be utter chaos. Better to that I'd say live each day as if you've got a 50/50 shot.
