oh for sure. a couple times in my life. sometimes just cause something ends doesnt mean you stopped loving them, sometimes there is other reasons, or grow apart but your heart is not a faucet that can just be turned on and off in an instance. people try to mask it but its whats in your heart and we live once go with it. you will know. wake up thinking about them, go to sleep thinking about them, reminders like a song or when you think of their name you smile deep into your heart. things like that. dont be discouraged, it will hit ya like a ton of bricks. best bricks i ever felt. lol

I am confused; I thought the heart only pumps blood. Feelings do come from the brain; not the heart.

But the entire self is electrical. Feelings are mixed with nerves, stress hormones, your entire being and bio-mechanics...you are more than a bag of skin and a brain.

Touch and feeling being touched by someone that reciprocates love for you is better than family or friend love. Why is it that lovers massage each other?

You're more than a brain, skin and organs.

The brain is also a controller for feelings, The only way "is the heart" if you have one to share also?

I guess I'm a believer that love doesn't exist especially on line....think about it, if you on one side of the country or the world your your interest is on another how in the hell are you going to make it work. you going to want to see each other, you going want to be near each other and sex.....dang you can forget it.....unless you find mutual interest in your same region.....love is illusion. love is fictional. we as people fall victim of the ideal of love but really it don't exist.

Your child being born( can you explain why you cry?) A loved one passing away (explain why your chest hurts, are you having a heart attack?) The brain is working overtime in some cases as well as your eyes, common sense prevails in most cases but if not for Love to be shared between 2 people why are you here( the popcorn & forums?) If so then i guess i'm lost even here.

This simply communicates the idea that your only understanding of love is listening to or reading what other people tell you it is.

If you keep trying to "find" love and attempt to measure it based on what other people have told you it is then you're pretty much screwed.

It's like someone telling you about the most comfortable pair of shoes they ever owned, then you go around trying to find the "right" pair of shoes that matches exactly what that person said their shoes were and mad that all the shoes you try on don't fit correctly or don't live up to being the "most comfortable pair of shoes" you've ever owned.


So...it's actually probably "best" that you DON'T believe in this "so called" love anymore.

Maybe because of that you will start paying attention to, and valuing, how you feel and what emotions and feelings are important to you rather than how you think you are supposed to feel, how things are supposed to go, and what series of events are supposed to lead to something.

Of course there is an equal probability that you just don't want to deal with the risk, time, or effort involved in "love," instead wanting it handed to you, so you simply use your frustrations as justifications to go after short term selfish gratification.

It happens.

Hmm, that might explain why I don't like massages then; they don't do anything for me and I find them painful. Touch is a sense just like hugging. I prefer a hug over a massage from a friend or family member because I know its sincere and they want nothing in return where as a lover does. I am happy with the love of friends and family as they love me unconditionally and accept me just the way I am; unlike a lover.
