And then there are the crazy cat people I'm not gonna go there, right now. Don't want a stroke. Ok...pets in general. I have pets. They are not people. From my experience, when a person is obsessive about their pets, meaning they forgo everything and everyone, for their pet, they have a mental or emotional problem. Plain and simple.

If you have ever had a dog then you would know they are actually more work than a child..... chill out and enjoy.....dogs are so much fun...

Is it just me? I find that women with dogs will always put the dog first. Many women think of the dog or dogs as their little children, they sleep with them, snuggle on the couch with them. They can never stay out for long, they have to get home to let the dogs out, feed the dogs. They are always thinking about the dogs. I had one woman who I never met tell me that she would never give up her dog for a man, and her dog would always come first. One woman had a big dog and called her favorite man. I'm I the only one who thinks this is crazy? I won't date a woman with dogs. If I see a picture of the lady with a dog or dogs, I don't even reply. Ladies, are men like this?". I'm safe.. goodluck..

They're smelly and time consuming...Ive often thought about a dog though. I've told my son, when I get to the point where I need a dog instead of a real human, take me out back and shoot me in the head.

If you have ever had a dog then you would know they are actually more work than a child..... chill out and enjoy.....dogs are so much fun... Like one guy in the article said about dating women with kids, at least they get a sitter and you can stay out longer. But with a dog... forget it. No one in their right mind would want to dog sit.

it always makes me laugh when people imply it's just one gender or on group who does something. men do this too. dogs, snakes, horses will come before the people in their life. when my brother was in the service he was stationed overseas. his first concern was always for his 'son' who was the bulldog he left with us. he and his current girlfriend both like dogs and call them the kids.they plan outings and make sure they pack for 'the kids'. they even know restaurants that are pet friendly.

If a man or woman can love a dog, a cat or a pet, then they are the ones with a heart that can love anyone.

I have 2 dogs, 2 cats (strays) and a bird....I love my dogs, but I especially love cats! They are more independent and I don't have to run home just to walk the 'cat'...LOL! But my dogs are a different story, cos' they need their daily walks.

Wasn't this already posted earlier? Anyway, if you don't like women with dogs, don't date women with dogs. It's really that simple. Why complain about responsible pet owners who may have to get home earlier to let their dogs out, or who won't get rid of their dogs just because you don't like them? Thanks. I've learned my lesson. I won't date a women with dogs. Yeah; I had the same problem with guys and their dogs. I was facing a cancer scare and the guy I was dating didn't even acknowledge me as he was worried about was his dog throwing up. Thank goodness I had the support of a good friend. Needless to say; I dumped this sorry excuse for a boyfriend.

No..he said a four yrs old should be old enough to sit themselves. ..which hes right IMHO.. I had a full time job at 6 Have you ever heard of a three dog night? Thats why I quit drinking. 1,2and three dog night? I guess it doesn't get that cold where you live.

I don't think its just women I have a big yellow lab and to be a responsible owner you have to get up early take them on walks, bath them, proper food and medications, its a challenge sometimes but it is so rewarding. I view my dog as part of the family and if someone did not agree with my lifestyle they would be frustrated with me because that is not going to change.
