well see... maybe u should slow down reread after u open ur eyes. i said "lil bit of the pain" i see we got a genius on our hands here.

I had my tonsils taken out a good six years ago, and there was a lot of complications, bleeding, infection, severe swelling blocking my air way, I lost a stone in a week. Wasn't nice, but been through far worse. Hope you feel better soon.

How would you know?

Having your tonsils removed as an adult is horrible!

And childbirth is just a natural thing, sure there's pain, but it ain't all that bad as you men seem to think. I would not have had it without... part of the natural process, part of it. And makes the part where you get to hold your baby for the first time even more beautiful!

And ... it don't last, nor hurt, for 6 days on end

The pain of childbirth? Try having food poisoning in Spain and you're stuck to the toilet with your arse blowing bubbles and being sick in the sink at the same time? laugh laugh laugh

How would you know?

whoa I'm quite surprised by this coming from you Crystal, but I really shouldn't be

Here's my reasonning:

Tonsillectomy pain can be well controlled with opiates, childbirth, unless you epidural, has no such comfort. There's no doubt Women have a higher tolerance for pain, If they tell me it hurts, it must friggin kill... However short it may be, I'm pretty sure the McMaster pain chart would be close to the max. Hope this helps ya Crystal.

By the way, Having ANYTHING removed as an adult hurts like a biatch slaphead laugh

Childbirth is the hardest thing I've ever done. My doctor was awful the whole time, he wanted me to hurry up, but I insisted on a natural birth and got my way.

Nice when a guy gets it!...((((( BEAR )))))...I've hear it said both ways...Giving birth is a piece of cake and giving birth is the hardest thing I've every done...For me, it was the hardest thing I've ever done (and the most rewarding)...I was 19, scared chitless and endured natural childbirth because there wasn't time for the epidural...My baby's head was crowning by the time they got me to deliverygrumble ...The labor pains were bad enough, but when her shoulders came out the "tear" was the most painful feeling ever...I think I blinked out for a few seconds because when they laid my daughter in my exhausted arms, I was so overwhelmed by her, I forgot the pain....I guess that's why women are willing to do it more than once...Anyhooo, thank you Bear!....flowerforyou
