I think this is one of my greatest pet peeves when someone messages me with this question. I just want to b**ch slap the guy. If I respond (which isn't often), it is with another question. Ask me a question?

I say what do you want to know? how will that impact your life. and you answer your own question first. and I tell them ask me questions only if the answer isn't in my profile

I usually tell them that I could tell them about my bunions and how long it took me to empty the cat litter box. That usually takes care of things.

Yes, I agree many times it is a scammer but those I just delete. It's the others who aren't. It would be easy to ask a question about something I've written in my profile to start a dialogue. I don't do general questions.

Ask me a question? totally agree...it is annoying and dumm. ( and makes him block and delete material) It takes time to learn about someone....just start a convo on an interesting topic instead

Usually I don't respond to anyone, I'm not familiar with from the forums. Reason is. It's usually a scammer, or some insipid female who obviously didn't read my profile and therefore has already annoyed me to the point of silence.
