Ok a woman wants to breast feed in public. Throw a parade. But if someone isn't confortable with it, they are wrong?

Two sided to a story and doesn't make either wrong

Apparently if it is done in public, the public is supposed to pretend nothing is happening ohwell

Even when I used a bottle to feed my baby, I still used a blanket to give the baby a "private" place to feed. They are NOT adults, and NEED that little extra security because they ARE so vulnerable.
I do not mind at all if a woman feeds her baby in public, what I DO MIND is when she simply whips out her boob and feeds without any modesty or privacy for her AND baby.

This subject, IMO is just like anything else...there are ones who do it in a proper way and ones who simply don't care about themselves, their baby or anyone else.

I don't think they don't care about their baby, there just not as body conscious has some.

Breast feeding should be normal as it is, no shame. But sometimes, it would be best to cover the nipple

If a baby is hungry, he/she needs fed. There is a difference between just sitting there and not attempting to give privacy and just letting your boob hang out. I always tried to cover up as much as possible and I never got any strange looks. Heck most of the time you couldn't even tell what I was doing.... Now, posting pics online. If it is a mothers site or breastfeeding site I feel it is fine. Just posting pics on facebook of your entire breast hanging out is not acceptable. Just my opinion.

I personally don't care either way, but im also of the mindset that if people wamted to walk around nude topless etc that would be fine too...would probably prefer it lol

Glad to see the military stepping up and making a effort to help nursing Military moms the support to give the troops reasonable accommodations to privately express milk for infants or nurse so we have healthier babies.

*So, I know that in Canada, it is legal for both men and women to be topless in public. But I was wondering what the specific bylaws in Toronto are. Oh, and if you have info on any other parts of Canada, would love to hear too!

**Basically where men can go topless women can go topless. So "shirt must be worn for service" health regs apply but technically if you want to walk down Yonge street with your sweet sweet **** hanging out, there's no law against that.
