I drive a Toyota Camry. It's good for me. I can't drive a giant car or truck. In my opinion, toyota, honda, and nissan are the best. I always see 80's and 90's models driving around in my city but..where are the older domestics? They're in junkyards. I'm not talking trash, but voicing my own experience. I don't like large vehicles myself. I prefer performance at a reasonable price, which is why I drive a modded, and tuned Honda Civic. Not just that, but I'm adept in the inline-four engine models and have worked on them for 8 years now and learned a lot. PS, my modded Civic puts out about 150 hp to the ground in a 2400lb chassis, has a stage 3 clutch, and is prepped for turbo upon upgrading fuel delivery just a fuel pump and injectors with resistor box, then a go-autoworks street turbo kit for 230hp to the wheels on stock internals, then eventually I am building an Acura Integra LS block to be frankensteined with a JDM b16a vtec head, and boosted with a turbonetics T3 turbo at about 15lbs of boost with forged internals and built valvetrain for around..let's say 450 horsepower to the ground  Your car talk is making me hot. Your car talk is making me hot. IamwhoIam1, what is it about cars that makes you hot? Do you like that guys who works on cars are still guys? Or does watching a guy driving a stick makes you hot? When I was very young in my late teens and early twenties I usually drove sticks. I usually came across many women that would actually enjoy watching a guy drive stick. Nothing immoral the Ladies just enjoyed watching men drive sticks. I actually drove tractor trailer for a little while, but never did have any female passengers with me. Your post kind of takes me back twenty five to thirty years. |

My fifth Mercedes Benz..... They crash well... Very safe cars... They like the autobahn speeds of around 100 mph plus Yes they are safe. Princess Diana died in a Mercedes S600 V12 during a high speed pursuit |

OP. I don't consider a front wheel drive car a true sports car, and as you already know Hondas are fwd.
Yes they good & reliable & good fun here & there but i am into rear Wheel drive and all Wheel drive. I am part of a Racing Club too & we have drifting events & other events & I have a small garage specifically for maintaining & tuning the cars I have. a Honda NSX is old but still good & can be tweaked well |

OP. I don't consider a front wheel drive car a true sports car, and as you already know Hondas are fwd. Yes they good & reliable & good fun here & there but i am into rear Wheel drive and all Wheel drive. I am part of a Racing Club too & we have drifting events & other events & I have a small garage specifically for maintaining & tuning the cars I have. a Honda NSX is old but still good & can be tweaked well I used to think the same thing...until I tagged along on a joyride around my city and highway in a fully built 500+whp boosted integra smashin 150 on the freeway in like 9 seconds from a rolling 30 start and believe me, they can take corners. The only thing is...it's tricky getting traction and shifting right with such high power in an FF. My buddy drifts an FC (85 RX7) with a chevy small block in it tuned to the hilt, and another drifts a 95 Toyota Cressida with a 2jz block mated to a 1j head, single turbo we got it going on haha. |

Au contraire, this is a great topic, OP. I Drive a team of six black stallions.. ..... giddy up..lol What about your beautiful red truck, Daddy? Tell us the make, model and year.   .... but what I really drive.. is a 2014 Dodge Charger SRT..... but only on my days off.... which I don't get a lot of..lol... and never in the winter time...... used to have a Harley...... but since... I am looking after my boys...full time.... I decided to sell it a .little too dangerous........ and technically I suppose I still own... my ex's Lincoln Navigator....lol.. A Harley? I would have loved a ride on one. |

Your post kind of takes me back twenty five to thirty years. When talking about cars and car parts, it's like mastering another language. I like being chauffeured. Auto or stick, either is fine. I like the mastery of fixing and building cars. I would love to learn mechanics or computer hardware repair. That's how my mind works. |

I also love the finer things in life, as you know. I gravitate towards sports cars and luxury cars, like the Lamborghini. Love the design and overall look of it. Wish I could feel it too one day.

Honda Civics are inexpensive as are the motors and parts, that's why I have 2! Yeah!

Less customs tariff as many car categories are considered essential commodity in the US, and not as luxury item. |

Over here. We have a lot of Jap cars some from UK. The odd USA car but they look strange because our diving wheel is on the right side of the car not the left well in the cars I saw.

If I had $10,000 I'd buy one of our local Texas cars imported from japan with the wheel on the right. But...it would be a real hassle buying parts for them being that the motors utilize all JDM parts not available in the USDM for purchase

Mostly a 2000 Buick LeSabre, it seats six and gets a lifetime average of 28.4 mpg. Love that car, even with it's little quirks.
I've also got a 2000 Dodge Dakota because every farm needs a truck Then there's the John Deere 6000 I use for most of the farms light chores or the 8530 if I really need to get some work done. Then last, but certainly not least a 2000 Harley Davidson Road King, for when I need to relax. |

I've noticed cars in the U.S are cheaper then elsewhere. But some jap imports can be pricey like twinturbo supra's & the like.
A wicked brand new pickup truck in the U.S can be bought from 30-35k U.S.D. That is so reasonable & in my opinion so affordable coz the same would be about 50k U.S.D or more where I'm from. |
