Well there are different kinds of women, and I guess you're just not his type. I am attracted to more dominant males, not submissive ones. Everyone has their preferences, but a lot of people won't admit it. There are men who like submissive women, there are men who look for dominant women. I don't see anything wrong with it.

Yeah, I found it difficult because I live in a small town and didn't have much in common with the guys there. You're more likely to find a guy with things in common online, but usually they're far away.

Yes I am in one, but I think it depends on the person. We both do a lot of things online, like playing mmorpgs together. It's something we both enjoy doing in the meantime, and when we get together we'll do other things like visit conventions and go camping. My sister was the same way, she was in a long distance relationship for 7 years. They met on an online game, now they're living together. It's good to skype every night, and try to find things to do together like watch movies or tv shows. But many people aren't interested in games or media, so it might be harder to maintain a LDR when you don't have mutual activities to enjoy together.
