I go with a 10 gallon western hat.. like they wear on Bonanza, even in the elevator at work... some don't care for that.

I don't wear any hats...even in winter. Never really been one for having something constricting the bloodflow to my little brain. slaphead

used to wear a big hood scarf over my head when I was younger..
now in winter I might wear ear muffs or just pull up my hoodie over my head

I have hats
I just don't normally wear them anymore

When I was younger I never wore a hat.. now that I'm older and my hair is starting to.. divorce itself from me so to speak..lol.. I'm beginning to enjoy wearing hats.. but I have a very odd shaped head so I need a very particular type of hat.. I have been rocking out.. this hat I'm wearing right now it gives me a very English gentlemanly.. look.. at least that is what I tell myself.. my boys just say dad you were wearing an old mans hat..
Thanks boys..

I agree with the boys.
The hat and the beard makes you look way older than you are but if you like go hard bro.
I do think of my granddad. He was 89.

Most of the time, when I decide to wear a hat, I'll pick one of a half-dozen baseball caps that I have - but that's not especially often.

But when I have to be out when it's raining, I'll invariably grab my suede leather Aussie hat...

On me I rarely wear a hat because with long hair it is a hassle going in and out and keeping the pony tail I wear more often than not. I have found I like my visor in California because the sun Is usually really bright.

When I lived in the Midwest and the south I had a western straw with and Eagle feather and several lady Stetsons with Turquoise but in California you just don't see them so they are hanging on the bedpost or setting on my nightstand lampshade. The straw in one of my photos is my State Fair hat.

I like hats on men if it compliments their head/fits them. Especially a good Stetson. A lot of men wear hats that don't and it is a goofy distraction.

Backwards hats drive me crazy. Especially on guys old enough to know better.

If you don't have the right looks the pork pie hats just make you look older.

Hats often draw attention to being bald in my thinking but a guy whos scalp/ears/nose are sunburned is really distracting. Hat band hair is better avoided. As are hats that are really more of a costume that and accessory.

The REALLY BAD hat fail is a hat that smells and obviously has sweat or grease stains. If you don't know if your hat has BO then error on the side of NOT wearing it.

And guys on dates do NOT put your hat on Her head unless she tells you it is ok. It is something Daddy's do NOT boyfriends.

I know that 'toque' is undoubtedly a real word up north there - but I can't help feeling a bit of amusement every time I see it, since it reminds me of these goofballs:
