FBI 2010 Homicide Statistics.. Single Victim/Single Offender White: 3,327/2,777 killed by a white, 447 killed by a black Black: 2,720/2,459 killed by a black, 218 killed by a white http://www.fbi.gov/about-us/cjis/ucr/crime-in-the-u.s/2010/crime-in-the-u.s.-2010/tables/10shrtbl06.xls So keep working on bringing down the number of whites killing blacks and just totally ignore the numbers of blacks killing blacks.. No political points to score when you tell the truth and I hate to break the news, but this article ain't the truth.. no proof that anything is being 'ignored' the point isnt bringing down the number of killings, its equalizing the TREATMENT of killers,,, |

Black on black violence isn't news worthy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=LONUecnsMb8 This man has my undying respect. Why not just let the police investigate without public urging them to do a job they are going to do, already doing and already paid to do......without the hype and bullcrap that end up tainting the cases and end messing up the case to the point they have to end up going free because the police get pushed to arrest without all the evidence needed to find the party guilty because they couldn't do their job accurately/thoroughly due to being rushed to arrest?? And if they don't convict it will be they didnt do their job correctly, hmmmmmm makes you wonder what the point was and where it actually got em.......... Id have to ask the parents why they thought it appropriate to keep 'pressure' on police to find justice for their son,,,,considering their account that they were assured of the killers 'squeaky clean' persona,,, and the fact that police always care and do a thorough job on everyones case,,,......(sarcasm) as a parent, yeah, that would make me call everyone I could to make sure my kids death wouldnt get swept under a rug too,,, Sqeaky clean persona which the guy never had to begin with nor was hsown to have unlike Treyvon.......does not evidence make the only reason a case was initiated is bcs of propaganda and not evidence.......find the evidence present it rather than push to get a trail that will eventually find the man innocent without a chance for double jeopardy.......or just like casey anthony get it over with so they can move for a civil law suit?? Most likely they are wondering yhow much they can get out of their childs death. INVESTIGATE<, is what was at hand evidence cant be adequately collected when someone is killed, in just one or two hours or one or two days,,,, but if one is killed with a gun in a public area and the other is holding the gun,,that warrants INVESTIGATION and not just taking the gunmans word,,,, from the parents perspective,, this was being brushed off as a non incident from a prosecutors perspective, PRESSURE kept them from ignoring the honest attempt to gather EVIDENCE to decide upon how to proceed |

Religion is Child Abuse?

'abuse' is a highly overused and oversimplified term in the forums, thats why I always almost put it in quotes,,,,

little by little, we are becoming a fascist state... 50 years ago, we wouldn't have allowed this... fifty years ago, we probably wouldnt have children behaving this way at school.... not so much... they paddled then...they never should have stopped that... agreed, we became a nation where children were made 'equal' to adults but still given the 'protection' of children mixed signals and mixed up kids... |

any limit placed upon someone regarding how they perceive their own existence, is equally 'abusive' and with that you just explained why your religious belief is abusive because it forbids you to pick only one of the options .... clear case of limiting thought only if the presumption is made that one is abusive,, which I did not assume I said they are equally 'abusive', meaning one is no more or less abusive than the other but not necessitating that either is abusive |

abuse would have been if you were only given "one" option ....and if you didn't pick that one option you would burn in Hell for all eternity which is why my non threatening question was not abusive but pure as it was wholesome and family friendly any limit placed upon someone regarding how they perceive their own existence, is equally 'abusive' |

Where are Jackson, not-so-sharpton and the howler panthers with all their whoopin' and howling to kill the negro when a negro kills one of his own? They don't show cuz, it ain't about killin' da crackah. they dont have to show, the POLICE show in full force and 'negros' get arrested,,,, |

nope...your existence is why you should have only picked one option... you placed "both"..."Both" was not included as an option because it refers to two existences .. there exist questions that the religious are not allow to answer or to think beyond which requires them to hide behind the option of "Faith" imagine teaching Children this ...sure seems like abuse I imagine that 'abuse' applies equally in the case of not allowing others to think beyond the options of 'one or the other' , black and white,,,,etc,,, |

yeah, throwing books and things can get people hurt
physical restraint was probably the best way to reduce risk,,,as quickly as possible |

Don't blame the police, blame the school. Really you cap the police because of a kindergarten? Sounds like someone cant handle their job. Id say if she was posing a danger to herself and others, restraining her was the right thing and any physical restraint they would have used would have been criticized, but reasonable when logically thinking about the safety of the child and others |

I think you want me to pick what represents YOUR existence,, MsHarmony....now you sound like AdventureBegins....the question pertains to your existence solely ...yours alone, no one else ......now you're being paranoid if it pertains to MY existence, MY answer should be sufficient,,, |

try changing the view to a smaller percentage,,,(the % is in the lower right hand corner above the time in IE explorer)

I said both. Cowboy...you picked "believe" ..... Doesn't necassarily matter which one I "picked". well actually it does matter...especially since the question pertains only to ones own existence ..the question is a Litmus Test a person would have to be either mentally or morally challenged to pick the option "believe"... a religious person is forbidden to pick any of the options that existed in the question and therefore would pick an option "that didn't exist" ..."both" a non-believer would not be bound by a belief and therefore have no reason to not tell the truth and pick "know" thinking people are not 'forbidden' from any answer, whatever their beliefs are the question is a philisophical one that has no absolute correct answer your philisophical belief is that you 'know' you exist my belief is that I know I exist and I believe I exist if I did not believe it, I couldnt know it and if I didnt know it, I couldnt believe it,,, people thousands of years ago would swear they 'knew' the world to be flat,,but they would still be wrong and basing their 'knowledge' on the information available at the time perception is reality and what we KNOW starts with how we perceive,,,and is reaffirmed or negated by what the 'collective' agrees they 'know'..... MsHarmony...if you existed as The World, whether you were Flat or Round would still not change the question do you "know" that you yourself exist or do you "believe" that you yourself exist all you had to do was pick the one that most closely represented your existence .... I think you want me to pick what represents YOUR existence,, I already answered what pertains to my own,,, |

I think wrapping attraction up in physical boxes has to do with one type of fear,, Are you saying we fear those we aren't attracted to? IM saying we fear stepping out of a 'comfort zone',,,yes,,, You can't force attraction, though. I can't agree that not being attracted equals fear. you can RE Define attraction society insists on making it only a physical reaction, people are fearful of redefining it and comfortable with that definition,, so they stay where they are comfortable,,, If you are not attracted to something/someone, how do you redefine your attraction? I'm not talking about what society things. Individual people have different preferences when it comes to attraction. again, that is a physical attraction which is fleeting and CAN change it is not an absolute, but society reinforces the idea to us that it is,,,so it becomes our 'reality' and our identity,,,, when I Was younger , I Was not at all attracted to Asians, if society had had a label, lets say,,,afroeurosexual and encouraged me to define my identity by it,,,my repeated insistence to myself and others along with societies affirmation that that is what I Was would become more and more concreate and real with time however, I have interacted with and been 'attracted' to Asians since then because I Refuse to define my identity in such shallow terms... however, there is no such la label, and as I got older , I Realized stimulation and attraction take plce in the brain and therefore are not restricted to a physical package I have developed 'sexual' attraction to people that I may otherwise not be 'attracted' to ,,,because of udnerstanding that,, but most people are too fearful to step out of their comfort zone of some 'absolute' attraction/identity to do so,,, dont believe me? think of episodes on the talk shows where men have 'fallen' for other men they 'thought' were women,,,its in their head the 'package' required to develop attraction, but its not really the 'package' at all,,,, |
