Thanks, ASK. Actually, me, neither. I've gotta check my email and I'm hitting the doggie bed.

Night, all.

(And... I win!)

Those are the men who don't understand where YOU are coming from.

At least that was my experience...

Doesn't it depend on who you get to do the Mangling?

Depends on how long ago they were widow(er)ed.

Been there. Know the pain. If it's too close to the death, it's too soon.

I just thought I'd let you know that Lucy died last Wednesday.

She was well on Tuesday, sick Wednesday morning. I rushed her to the vet, they stabilized her but she died anyway, possibly of a lung infection.

<----- that was Lucy.

She was 12 years old.

Last night, I almost lost Lucy.

<---------- that's Lucy.

I was feeding her and Barkley some leftover turkey and (true to form) she bolted hers down. Instantly, she collapsed and started kicking and clawing at the air. I flipped her over in a second and did a doggie version of the Heimlich Maneuver.

It was over in less than 30 seconds. She's fine now.

Ask your vet how to do basic first aid on your pets, including the Heimlich Maneuver. It's something you need to know. Trust me, you won't regret it.

Don't get me wrong... I've given my phone number out and had some lovely conversations with people I've met here. But for Cripe's sake, let me get to know you first!! Two or three emails through M2 isn't exactly making me warm, ya know?
