Ohhh my my well like we have not had enough of the Triple Digits today they are saying 110 before heat index is factored in.. As hot as it is at least this heat streak will be coming to and end soon.. And Temps will start going back down..
All I can say is I'm sure glad I work inside.. I feel for those that don't. 
I did get my enclosed porch all vamped back up.. I did not vacuum again will do that this evening then that area is done... I will admit it has been a while since I did that much and a bit sore today.. 
Might work on getting my kiddie pool finished draining and start taking it apart to clean up..

Omg.. yes I went and painted the front door.. not just once but twice then touched it up. I was painting with a brush.. I'm done for the night..What paint was left in the can is now gone.. So.. if it is not good enough now ohhhhh well.. it is what it is..
Tomorrow is another day.. so will be working on getting my house back in order.. That is after I get off of work. maybe  . 
Front porch is a done deal...new floor, touch up caulking/paint & furniture has a new face lift..And everything is back in place.. Wow even I'm amazed how much I got done.. 
I did go lay out for about 20 min today just to relax actually the heat from the sun felt great..I pulled the plug on my kiddie pool for I meant to get it put up today.. But well I over thought what this ole lady can do in one day 
All I can say is night night may you all have a great tomorrow..

I thought I'd give Desert Dawn a shot because of what TxGal said, but I didn't like it. Switched it off after 5 minutes or sooner. Really bad acting. It has a IMdB rating of 3,7 and I totally get why. But it made me think of The Last Stand with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Forest Whittaker and I watched that :) So something good came out of it for me. Sorry you did not give the movie more time than 5 min, really they were still explaining what the movie was even about.. I even timed it and well it took 4 min to set the stage.. I will admit it was not action packed from the beginning more of setting the stage for a country town Sheriff.. Sure there were times I wondered but it was still a movie I would watch again.. Matter of fact I did watch it again after your review.. Funny I found that I understood the movie even more.. The Picture he sees at the beginning if you even got that far was actually his sister that was kidnapped when he was only a kid.. Therefore would I recommend it yes I would, not like it kept you on the edge of your seat but it was interesting.. either way |

Dang TG did you use your connection to delete my reply to your last comment......but you are right .... I am bored and drunk posting this afternoon....after a very long time I may add ....Sorry about that .... Connections hell if I had connections there would be a few that would be gone from the site.. Ya just drunk again hahahah It's still there you just posted within my replay shshs.. Hey I have put everything back on the enclosed porch then realized I need to paint my main door shshhs Ohh well got all off of the stuff off the door, and will do that next.. Dang I need to quit looking to see what else needs done.. And now I need to vacuum again shshhss

Damn Slim ya already drunk? Can't even quote right
Funny thing when I started lunch I responded.. But of course lunch was only half way cooked for I got one of those shiny penny moments that actually I'm kind of liking.. (cause I seem to get some stuff done at least} Well so far I have almost everything back on the front porch but a few items.. Then will vacuum.. Got a new door mat to put by the glass door.. Says ............... " Go Away" Unless you have food , Alcohol or Amazon Packages"
And yes unless one has called me and said they were coming by.. they ain't getting even a hello.. Since I don't have Ring Camera and will not answer the door.. Cause I can see who is at my front door without a camera if I'm home.. hehhe Ohh and when home the enclosed porch door is locked as well.. Just one more thing I have to fix is replace the door handle and lock on the front door so I can lock it when needed, if I'm going to be gone.. |

Slim you can have any drink your heart desires... Did you forget this is a serve yourself bar?? As long as you pour it, you can drink it..
Well all I can say is I'm one sore puppy today.. Funny thing is even with going up and down the steps with the furniture and all the extra walking... My knees don't hurt a bit.. Naw seems my neck decided to wake up and say ohh helllll no.. It's all my upper body that aches.. Go figure.. 
Goal today is just to get all the knick knacks & plants back in place.. other than that it will have to wait for another day.. Got lunch cooking Jalapenos cut in half and stuff with cream cheese big chunk of chicken and wrapped in bacon...Will fix some cheese dip on the side with chips.. Ohh and yes most likely a Frozen Margarita for a jump start..

Actually a lot of those things use to bug the heck out of me back when I was a mod for we would have to delete like 6-7 post instead of just the main one that started it. Now I just by pass those threads all together.. Scammer threads well now it seems some feel they have to start a new thread about scammers often instead of just posting on the 50 others that are out there.

OMG you are a sucker fer punishment.. 108F and you went riding on yer trike? must've been 120F with the heat from the trike.. no wonder you were soaked when you got home.. hydrate hydrate hydrate.. and a margarita won't cut it

Ohh my gf, I must be a sucker for punishment for sure.... I carried all the furniture out of the house to the driveway, washed it all down, spray painted it one can at a time.( For that was as long as I could take the heat} then went over the porch and caulked all the areas that needed it. Seems that was not enough for me, contractor had left some white paint in a can so I decided I needed to touch up the paint.. Got that done... I have 2 wicker fans on the wall.. Did not want to remove so cut cardboard that I could slide around behind the areas where I needed to paint, and spray painted those while on the wall.. Took the hanging wicker bird cages and put them in the shower to wash those and a few more items.. Once I got it all done I vacuumed and then brought all the furniture back inside to put on the enclosed porch.. Went to turn off my ac in my room and well it felt so good back there and bed was so inviting I laid down for I was sore.. Made myself get back up after an hour and headed to the shower and yes back to bed after snacking on some roasted chicken.. All I can say is I'm moving mighty slow this morning.. Got my coffee and deciding if I even want to cook breakfast or not... |

I will admit all those things are annoying, delete my account when the instructions were posted on the thread saying you have to do it yourself yet they still post asking to have their account deleted..
Scammer threads are another.. This is the Internet wake up there are scammers everywhere even in your personal email. Makes me wonder if they respond to those emails.. Another of my pet peeves are even the ones that constantly post just to say that person is deactivated.. Humm they had to do it themselves many do that each time they get off line.. Then many do it to post leading you to their profile so you can find them by their FB etc. Why not let the thread die... Then you have those that want to post Political responses shshs keep those in the Political Forums. Where they think they know what all is going on in the US but don't even live in it..
Ohh and when you find a thread worth answering you have those that don't just post a few off topic comments they keep it going for a full page.. Reminds me of my shiny penny moments when one can't focus on the Topic
Awe then you have some that want to dissect everything someone says.. As if their experience is way worse.. Or just the ohh mee oohh my post.. wanting others to feel sorry for them.. Makes me want to say suck it up butter cup there are much worse things in life..

Lol yea forgot to dbl check my post... In case I needed to fix it..
Humm well this morning I had second thoughts and was thinking it all would be fine to put back till I started really looking at the wicker for it has been flaking off a bit... And would not hurt to wash off the dust before I spray paint them again..
So then got a wild hair and decided I would ride my trike to Ace Hardware which is only like 10 blocks away.. Well I left there and thought humm I might take a short ride.. Believe me I did not go more than like 4 miles and was sweating like crazy so headed back home.. Shshs kind of stupid to get out around noon.. Got home checked Temps with heat index it is 108 outside.. Needless to say even the short distance I went top of my jeans and shirt were already soaked..
So time to rest a bit before I decide to do anything...Humm if I do
Matter of fact it's Noon maybe some liquid courage will get me primed to be stupid enough (like I need the help to do that) and get out in this heat to wash them off.. No Guarantee.. but hey worth a try

]b] Humm well got the enclosed porch all wiped down, then went back and got all the caulking done.. Might not have been that much but did use one tube of caulk.. Lot of it I have to look up to do.. With a messed up neck I have to do in stages. Well then that project is going to run into several more.. For ya see half of the walls are aluminum siding the other half is half windows & half wood.. Anywho caulking is done.. Then I realized they left a can of some white paint.. So later going to go out and touch up the paint on the wood walls and ceiling..
Humm... then I got to looking at the wicker furniture .. Yea wrong move.. for now I think if I'm going to spruce up the porch I need to fresh up the paint on the furniture and decor.. For it has been a while since I did that..shshhs

It's Flyday~~~~ mine kind of morning to wake up to.. Why cause it's the first day of my 3 day weekend..
I must say it has been a scorcher around here.. predicted to be 107 today but hey we are getting a bit of a break.. All week they said Sat & Sun would hit 110 now they are saying 107 whoop whoop.. Hey even a slight change is great.. Humidity is around 60% for today.. 
Got my enclosed porch windows all shut and front door wide open to cool off the porch. Contractors came and totally replaced my floor on the porch. The porch floor was laid down over 45 years ago and come to find out it was all done in short (1/2 azz job) planks of wood which had started to rotten and had a couple places they said I was lucky I had not fell through.. The indoor outdoor carpet seemed to have saved me from that... Now I need to wipe all the walls down due to some dust and do a bit of caulking before I put everything back in place..I'm over joyed with all the work they have done on my house the last couple of weeks..  I did get the plexiglass window re-sealed that had a gap where all the cool air from inside was going out on the porch..
Zee glad you are getting all those cross beams up. It amazes me all the house repairs you manage to do .. Not many men can do the house repairs you have accomplished.. You go gf.... 
Humm well guess I best head to the kitchen, time to fix breakfast... Its Breakfast Burrito's this morning..

Morning all~~
I assure y'all I will gladly give up these triple digits that are happening.. Today real temp is suppose to hit 107 that is without the heat index..This weekend they are predicting 110 without the heat index.. and seems it is here to stay all next week as well. We have been on extreme heat warnings for the last week.. No rain in site... I'm actually ready for fall but still have the rest of this month before we can take a breather..
This is what I was trying to warn Slim about visiting Texas in August is just not the month to visit. Well unless ya want to be the BBQ
