Morning .... seems I'm getting a late start this morning..
We had some very loud storms come through around 4am.. The Thunder was so loud it was unreal.. got my happy azz out of bed looking out the windows.. Off to get my coffee and fixing biscuits and gravy for breakfast... I may need a nap today..

I had seen the other day where a channel was showing ... "The Equalizer #3"
Could not remember if I had see the first & 2nd one.. So decided to watch the first two again and yes I had seen those... #3 was not disappointing.. So just finished watching~~~~ "The Equalizer" - 1, 2 & 3 in a row..... With Denzel Washington ~~kept my attention.. action packed.. |

Wow the weather here today high 85 cloudy with chances of rain off and on.. Actually loving the weather right now it feels awesome outside..
Myself I have plenty to do for sure.. bed made, lunch & dinner is cooked and ready... clothes in the washer.. humm still need to fold towels from last week. And well have a long list to do.... Got to get stuff done and clothes packed for my trip to Oregon next weekend.

First of all no one was so called whining they were merely stating what life was like and what they thought life was becoming... But yet you seem to want to take the Topic a whole different route...shshs
Humm I must agree with Zee. As a mother that raised two kids on my own bought my own House by myself after my Divorce.. Yes I did actually go on Welfare for 6 months after my divorce till I could figure out what I needed to cut out in order to make it..But never reapplied for it after that time.. I learned to manage my money.. Heck I made it on a waitress salary... And never asked anyone for help..And at 67 I'm still working taking care of my self financially. But yet your on the system with others giving you their hard earned money for you to live and enjoy your fruits in life many don't have.. Sounds like you are bragging.. So if you call it whining from those that work and want the World to be a better place and just discussing how the world was and how it is becoming ... then you might be part of the problem... |

Morning ~~~
Coffee & other stuff is ready for all.. Just finished fixing breakfast..... Egg over easy, bacon, fried potatoes and biscuit with jalp jam... 
I also put a foil Cajun packet in the oven for lunch and dinner...It consist of Jalp smoked sausage, shrimp, potatoes & corn on the cob... With Cajun seasoning, olive oil, pepper, red crushed pepper @ 400 for a couple hours.. 
Yeppiers it is Friday !! |

Gf you are a very Independent woman..I admire that in women.. Guess cause I'm the same way. We don't give up and show those naw sayers we got this...
Come on all the projects you do at home, hell most men can't even match what you do.. 
 For some reason I have a feeling that things are going to be totally different than what you ever dreamed of.. You not only have your kids now but you have FAMILY you have always wanted to find! 
 Got the dancing granny off the site glitter graphics I told ya about just had to put in dancing

Just being able to connect with those that are family... specially when adopted that is just awesome..All your hard work searching paid off.. 
And now setting up to meet your sister for the first time.. I can not even imagine the feelings that are happening right now for you.. But gf I'm happy that you are sharing these special moments with us all...

Okay am I the only one strolling through today shshs..
Well heck ended up moving my trike out in the yard.Then washed it and wiped it down..Moved it back under the patio to wax it. Cause it was a hot MF out there..My Trike is looking purty now.. 
Ohh well I'm gonna grab a shot and head for the shower 
My recliner is calling my name I'm wore out..ya know what this means..

I am a bit late to comment, but pleased to hear all has gone well. I hope this does not mean you will be leaving Mingle2 now you are dating. I would certainly miss your postings here in the Forums, your many topics and ideas put forward, but I suppose this is what happens. You know I actually did deactivate my account when I got into a very serious relationship , many years ago.. But on the advice of my good friend TG, I kept the friends I made on this site, by getting their private email.....Or FB account ...And when that failed second relationship went south....I still had support to go thru that rough time.r But thank you Dutt for your words of encouragement.... Awee 
Friends are good to have and well I have found out that those online ones seems to even help me through those days I need a little boast at times..

Even if all works out great he will still show up once in a while .. Or well he don't want me to come to Canada to straight his azz out.. I mean there are a few I could visit while there hehehe 
TG in her infinite wisdom is about half right ... I already had that dicussion with her....as she to is on Match.com( three years and counting))and we decided , together, that in case we decide to go exclusive, we would pause our accounts, but still keep the friends we made online , and limit the time we spend on dating sites...and come only for the Forums....something we already actually do!!1 TG and anyone else who wants to straighten my azz out , are always welcome to come and do so ... So yeah! let the fun and games begin...and not in the way soime on here take my flippant manner to mean !!1 Honestly I figured those would be the terms as well.. We are Adults and need to learn to Trust the one we are with unless they give us a reason not too.. I'm glad things are going smoothly one never knows till someone makes that first move.. Ohh and don't tempt me ya see gf lives in Canada too so if I did that would be my first stop then it's tag team.. Hahah and for those with their minds in the gutter or no sense of humor just 2 on one with the bs having a great times as friends ..

Zee hope you keep electric that sucks when it goes out...
They are saying feel like temps will be over a 100 here humm well can't say I know, for I have only been outside for a short time to use the weed blower to blow off my back patio.. early this morning.. 
Other then that fixed something different for lunch.. stuffed jalapenos peppers with Jalp cream cheese dip, bacon & cheese wrapped in crescent rolls.. Actually in my book pretty dang good just need to tweak them a bit...  
Was going to have a snack tray and had thawed out some shrimp for shrimp cocktail.. Did not figure it would go with that so I would try some shrimp scampi instead.. first time making it not bad.. and was not to bad paired with the wrapped jalp.. 
Hope everyone has had a pleasant relaxing day.. Or at least doing what you enjoy...

Coffee is brewing and fixing to get bacon & crispy crowns for Breakfast Burrito's started cooking... Not sure what I might do today.. There always seems plenty to do it's getting in the mood to do them

Dang well the one that got me yesterday had went in shortly after I got outside and changed clothes I was not going to hit him after that hahaha
Did not tell him I had another water gun just told him he was mine and I was going to get him back. I did laugh at him and told him well you should not have changed yet or I would have gotten him hehehe. I did end up getting my car all cleaned up inside and out and filled up the big trash bin from the little shed again..and rolled it back to the end of the driveway fence for Monday's pickup.. I'm done for now... if I do anything else it will not be much.. Yeppiers I'm grabbing a shot on the way out and heading to my recliner time to kick back and relax a bit.. I'm tired..

Humm Slim maybe you should donate breakfast once in a while so we can have a break
Anywho I did get out for a bit today.. Liquor store of course..then went to wash my car and get the inside all clean.. Still need to touch up the inside a bit.. But I did make the Family Dollar and got me yes a water blaster.. I'm ready it is filled up on the back patio.. I already heard them outside playing in the backyard..
Just finished lunch the last slice of pizza and a salad with Italian dressing.. hit the spot.. Think I'm going to head out finish cleaning my car and see what else needs to be thrown away in the little shed.. getting down to the nitty gritty in there.. Humm they say it is 92 out now so most likely will not be in the shed for long..

Humm guess the advice to go for it worked...
To me regardless if you think someone is not right for one of your friends, why would you make that choice for them and not let them make their own choice.. Regardless one never knows till they take that first step.. Sounds like it all worked out for now Slim.. happy for you never know it may develop into a Relationship or just a good friendship.. Only time will tell.. Funny for if one of my friends had refused to let someone they knew when I would drop by so they could actually met me we would have never had a 13 year Relationship.. Oh and her bf was against us meeting.. go figure~~~ and it was one of his friends.. |
