good MORNIN' peeps'n lurkers 
rainy day in da hood today.. which means it's a lazy day  good fer snugglin 'fore the fire and watchin a lot of movies on da big screen 
yup.. methinks a day off doin nuttin is in order.. so feet up.. stack the pillows.. grab a blanket.. and get settled for a movie marathon WOOT.. hope everyone's day is amazing
Awe sounds like a great plan to me.. My recliner is always calling me 
Today is the perfect day to just chill. Rainy days are the best days to kick back and watch movies & just piddle.. Got me a steak thawed out just coffee for breakfast this morning.. So I'll be ready for lunch..

wait.. how'd you get in after I locked everything up????? OMG.. I never changed the locks so you must've kept the spare key from almost 20 yrs ago.. 
Opps got caught up past my bedtime.. Humm it seems I fell asleep watching Antique Road Show in my recliner... Got up and fixed the strawberries so I can have Strawberry Short Cake later today... And piddled around played games on my phone for a bit before headed to bed... But figured a night cap would hit the spot... Guess that one night cap ran into more... Hehe yeppiers still have my key

YAY.. gots me a new granddaughter.. 7 lbs 6 ozs born at 1:21 pm today (march 6th) WOOT 
took forever to get an update cuz my youngest was in recovery until 3:30pm after going under the knife at 12pm cried like a baby outta relief AND joy.. she was talkin smack yesterday about "maybe I won't survive the surgery" freaked me right the fug out.. she kinda sounded like she didn't WANT to survive and why I was so freaked out today.. so if I pizzed anyone off.. deal with it.. cuz I ain't apologizing for loving my kids so much, I'd do anything to make sure they're okay.. Awesome news... congrats on the new baby girl..

just finished The Copenhagen Test season 1.. lotsa action "Set five minutes in the future, first-generation American intelligence analyst Alexander Hale realizes his brain has been hacked, giving the perpetrators access to everything he sees and hears." pretty interesting actually.. definitely a thriller.. I give it 7/10.. cud be returning for a 2nd season.. not giving any spoilers tho
I came in just to write down a few movies you have suggested to see if I can find them on Roku.. We shall see... Now I will admit I tried watching one of the John Wick series a few years ago but could not get into it.. I felt it was not reality.. if that makes sense. But I did put it on my list to check it out again.. At times what did not appeal to us in the past does later..

Honestly if I had the funds I would hit every country I could.
I've been on about 10 Cruises and loved every minute of porting at places I have never been.. But would love to spend a week in any of the places mentioned above.. I'm one that has not been to many places outside of Texas except for cruises.. I have been to a few of the places here in the US, but come on those don't make a dent in what is out of the US.. I had a chance to go to Alaska due to someone I use to talk to here but well funds were not there.. Even tho all I had to pay for is Airfare at the time.. For they offered to come get me and give me a place to stay and show me around.. If only I could have at the time I would have jumped at the chance.. |

I see ya caught me, I woke up around 4am, for that morning bathroom run. And thought ohh hell this is Friday, forget it I'm laying back down.. Well ended up dozing back off then woke up and just laid there thinking do I really want to get up
Figured I best get up, heck even the stray cats were looking in my back patio door wonder where the hell their breakfast was 
Awe today is Baby day, before you know it that little bundle of joy will be here making her mark on this world..

Oh wow so this is where all the lurkers come to check crazy stuff out ... Thanks for the warm welcome Zee and TxsGal... now why cant I find ladies like you nearby..??? Mondays really get me down and more so after having a disappointing weekend... a totally bland meet and greet!! Hahahah lurkers or crazy ladies... yes I'll put myself in that category too.. Humm if ya think we are having better luck than you with meeting men ... ohhh think again.. Believe me I have had some comical first meets...
Monday's to me just means I have to get up, get dressed to start the work week...

Just got on for a bit Good Sunday Afternoon...
A couple of my grand kids left about 45 min. ago. Seems mom had plans and well they know granny is always here as backup..
They for sure keep me on my toes no doubt..These two very seldom agree good for the soul..
Good to see ya Slim, I actually fixed a big breakfast this morning. Grandson wanted Breakfast Quesadillas that I fix at times and well grand daughter wanted pancakes, bacon, eggs & crispy crowns.. Why not we had it all~~Ohh actually my grandson cooked the pancakes he likes to cook. 
It's all nice and quiet now, house is back together think I'm going to go heat up some left over Chinese from last night and have a shot before I head to my recliner

Thinking I'm blessed, two of my grand kids came and spent the night with me last night. They left about 30 min. ago.. Time to relax & reflect, I love to jack with them. But man this granddaughter is a fire ball and omg she picks on her brother and aggravates him so yea he comes back and calls her a troll which only escalated things shshs.
.He is 14 she is 9 at times I had to jump in settle the air.. What is so funny is granny out smarted them both even on who got what color of marbles playing Wahoo..

Awe yes I'm referring to jalapenos which I add those and onions to most of my meals..
Got the banana pudding made. Grand kids are suppose to be here around 6pm this evening.. Humm and yea, I hit the recliner woke up around midnight then stayed awake till 4am and woke up at 8:30am so not so spry today. I might need a nap but have to do a bit of cleaning and vacuuming..

@ Dirty Dancer LTA means Living Together Apart... its an old concept shared by many older people and is catching on pretty fast . Think of it as being on a perpetual first date. And you know how those dates panned out. Its an exclusive commitment to sharing and caring with that one person who sets your heart on fire .....but without the legal hassles in case of relationship break down. Honestly, best bf relationship I had lasted 12 years he had his place I had mine.. it was ideal due to both of my kids were under 10 at the time. |

Ohh now fried potatoes anytime over hash browns.. I add onions,fresh jalp and seasoning to mine..
Got all my running done.. Fixing to go make banana pudding for it is always better after it sits a day.. I best make it before I hit the recliner, which I have not been to yet today.. So ya know once there it kind of takes me away like Calgon~~~ |

Humm think about it gf you put yours all on the bun only thing that I had you did not, was the crispy crowns.. Not sure if that is something you get in Canada they are just little round hash browns I'm talking 1"wide if that.. Bite size they are really good I cook mine in the air fryer 4-5 is enough for me.. I only cook breakfast on my days off. Rest of the week I have one of those mini banana nut muffins when at work.
Well I put my hair up in a pony tail on top of my head when I go to bed. I'm hot natured so it helps me to sleep better.. Plus it is easier to brush out the next day..
I try to make my bed every morning.. but normally make it while getting dressed. I stay in one spot pretty much all night as well.. Heck it takes me less than 2 minutes to make my bed lol.. And that is putting all the decorative pillows back in place
Humm well have not done my laundry yet, feed the stray cats, raccoons, opossums last night and cats early this morning.. Awe now I did get stuff to make banana pudding going to make it later since 2 of my grandkids are coming to spend the night with me tomorrow night..

mornin TxsGal.. yer off today.. whatcha got on yer agenda? 
Ohhh yes Thursdays are my Fridays... Three day weekends are awesome.. Humm lets see so far fixed breakfast eggs,bacon,crispy crowns, biscuit with jalp jam and well yes cup of coffee topped off with a splash of White Russian...
After breakfast, cleaned up kitchen, made bed, did a few things around the house & took out the trash.. Now off to get dressed... need to stop at Walmart and get a hand full of things.. and well got to make a stop and do my Civic Duty~~
