I've heard of this...It should me mandatory for them to 420... Ya know, so they can chill out and not put big holes in Johnn? smokin

So what's your excuse for not being around Lookin???

Well I was moving into my new house...then there was school...then there was lots of girlfriends...then that thing called work...then I got lost on FB for a bit...then I was watering some farm...

Oh wait, that wasn't me. Oops.

Um, life...needed to get thru Nov and Dec and holidays with new life adjustments, then a big project at work that just wrapped up.
Now I'm pretty much freed up to Mingle!

Well, Johnn just moved into his new house.
He is very busy.
This is HIS excuse for not being around so much.
We may have to send out some postal workers to get him.

I was busily looking to see if Johnn was 6'4"....

Tribbles is also using the 'busy' excuse.
Like we care if anyone has ANother life.
This is the only one that counts!
He does, however, have school, many
girlfriends and something called 'work, who
knows what THAT is..

We need to reset his priorities. Now. Before it's too late.

Nerk seems to have gone FB.
I am not sure they ever come
back from there.

Man, I had Nerk news to discuss with Nerk.
My cousin just got in trouble there, wanted to know if he knew him!

The 'new' couple finishes up on Friday,
so we may know something then.
If they go public.
Pretty high-profile.
It will be funnish :-)

Now, now you're tempting me to go thread hopping to see who is mysteriously missing!! Na, I'll wait.

Row did not meet her feller here, she
watered his farm or something..

OK, gotta hear more of this story! A 6'4" farm boy??

I cannot tell you how sorry I am to read this - I just (sorta kinda) went thru this with my father.

Please feel free to email me and maybe I can share some ideas/suggestions that worked for us ~ not just medically, but emotionally, spiritually, comfort wise ~ for you and him.

At the very least I can be an understanding shoulder to listen, as I can come pretty close to knowing what you are going through right now.

There really are no words, just many good positive thoughts and prayers for you, your family and all concerned.

See it's (Mingle) like watching a soap opera - you can miss it for a year and it's pretty much the same storyline when you tune back in!

I cannot believe you are not gonna spill the beans about a potential 'new couple' - are you really gonna make me go post stalking to try to figure it out?!?! laugh
Na, I'll wait til 'breaking news at 11' to get the scoop.

Gonna have to look up Teadipper.
YAY ROW!!! flowerforyou (anyone I know??)
So good to hear Krupa is still visiting too flowerforyou Come on Uncle Sam, send that check!

Few more questions --
where's Johnn? Tribbles? Nerk?
All well with them?

Thank you Soufie, you the bestest ! flowers

Aaaww flowerforyou I'm sorry.
It's hard to make the decision to 'do it again' after a loss.
I usually say "never again!", but then reach the point where I can't stand it and end up with another pupper! Never regretted taking in another one yet!

Greyhounds are super - a friend of mine has FIVE rescues. They are great dogs.

I've always had dogs, one lived to 15, one lived to 14, my pup now is 10, so I get the "many years commitment" deal.

More curious on Border Collies in my environment - small yard, no 'working/herding' conditions unless he chooses to herd the cats or dust bunnies while I'm away happy

I am considering taking a Border Collie puppy home.
I grew up with them, have been around at least one most of my life.
They vary greatly within the breed as far as their personalities, from my experience.

I have a small house.
I have a small yard - fenced.
I work from home - hhmm probably half the time. When I work, I work long hours.
There is another dog and cats to keep him company. The dog loves him, the cats not so much - yet.
There would be routine structured exercise - hikes/walks/runs, just not anytime all the time throughout the day/everyday.

This little fluff ball has stolen my heart.

Your experience with Border Collies? Pros/Cons?

(I think I'm really looking to be talked out of this.)

When I became single with 2 little kids in the house, I quit a professional position to do child care. I did it for 5 years and have no regrets. At the 5 year mark, I was READY to go back to grown-up-ville for a few hours a day, but honestly - if you are compelled, try it. There is such a demand for quality, affordable daycare! You can always go back to work in a company later. Just my 2 cents.

That's amazing and truly brave of you! I only have a few years of experience. But I loved every minute of it. That's so great you were able to go back when you were ready. I definitely want to go into this. Its been on my mind ever since I left NY. It means something to me.

Follow your heart -- do what you love, the money will follow - (or so they say).

Good advice here -- remember you are never too 'old' for a change. Life is too short - good luck!! flowerforyou

The use is that it's there for anyone who takes the time to read it.
Maybe it kinda weeds out just the lookers of pictures?
