A pot high and a booze high are two totally different things. With booze, you get drunk and act like an idiot. This idea that pot kills brain cells, it's a myth. Booze, besides making you act like an idiot if you drink too much. It also damages your kidneys and bladder.

Since my last post on this thread, it's been a year or more since I started. The "old" me is back. My brain is actually working better since I started the pot. In all honesty, right after I smoke you may as well leave me be for a little while. Right after I smoke I'm addled for a little bit. But in a little while that goes away. And I'm up to going.

What it is to the best of my limited knowledge, Pot effects certain receptors in the brain. For me, it's pain receptors. So, for about an hour I stay away from driving. The simplest way I know how to explain it, I know when I'm buzzing a little. So, I wait until that is over. But you take a person who is high on booze, he thinks he can do everything better when he's drunk. He's a menace on the road. The booze fogs the brain so badly that they don't realize what they are doing. They can't talk and make sense.

Every day down in my shop I have to deal with people. I'm never foggy. I guess what I'm trying to say is, booze will take your life away from you. It will kill blood cells. It kills brain cells. It kills people. I do not know of one person who ever overdosed on the pot. If you use it like I do it's a Godsend.

The thing about pot, If you try to push it too far, you're either going to pass out and sleep for the next 12 to 14 hours. Or you will get sick from the dizzy it brings on. But if you smoke it in a responsible manner, You may get a buzz for a little while, but that buzz will go away. For me, the buzz goes away in about an hour. And I'm mostly pain-free. And able to think much clearer than before.]
