Boy, you hit the nail on the head a lot here and it's all soooooooo true!! It took a long time to realize that the man I loved was merely who I THOUGHT he was, a reflection imposed upon him. He's a good person, but was not much of who I thought he was at all. And you are correct, love is a choice. And there are plenty of people to love, but not all are a healthy choice for me and I cannot choose them as a mate.

When I see the crap about satisfying a woman, I am so turned off and creeped out. Especially at first. And it shouldn't be about how to satisfy his woman. If he's into satisfying HIS WOMAN, he shouldn't be looking for me! Not sure where the blanket statement about women needing to show interest first comes from. I've got no issue about making it abundantly clear if I am interested in a man. BUT I sure the heck won't chase him or fight over him. He wants to know me or he doesn't. And I really don't know where the comment about cheap comes from unless you are meaning that it's assumed to be a sexual encounter only. But I still don't know that that would make a woman cheap, certainly no more so than a man making only sexual advances. C'est la vie, n'est pas? Egalite'!!!
