It's sad that because of one crazy woman you had to move 9 hours away from your son. Sounds like the law failed you but had it been the other way around (you slashing her tires, etc.) then it probably would have been a totally different scenario. Dating in your 40's, and I'm sure even older, is difficult enough. I compare dating now to that of a job interview. Both can be nerve wracking and the ending outcome usually is not how you hope it to be. Good luck.

I am one of those parents who does not give their children everything they want. My son does have a cell phone but only because it's the only phones we have and I think it's important that I be able to keep up with where he is at all times. He does have an ipod.. but he saved up his own money to buy it. I think it is important to make your children either pay for or at least pay half of anything fairly expensive that they want. I think it makes them appreciate it more and take better care of it!

Now that is something I think it's mother couldn't even love.. she probably thought WTF have I just given birth to?!

I started back on the 19th. Already had a test in one class and have a huge test in another class Monday. I didn't miss all this when I took the summer off! I wish I could fast forward to two years from now and be done!
