Living life will become easy; your eyes will open when you realize it’s not all about yourself. I’m not saying all your problems will go away but you will know that you have the love of God.

PSALMS 119:17 Deal bountifully with thy servant, that I may live, and keep thy word. 18 Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law. 19 I am a stranger in the earth: hide not thy commandments from me. 20 My soul breaketh for the longing that it hath unto thy judgments at all times. 21 Thou hast rebuked the proud that are cursed, which do err from thy commandments. 22 Remove from me reproach and contempt; for I have kept thy testimonies.

When your saved all things will become clear and living life will become easy. You will understand it’s not all about "me". It’s not about going out and having fun. You will be content and enjoy life all the time even in the hard times you will be grateful to God.

2CORINTHIANS 5 :16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more. 17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

The first thing you will notice is thankfulness to Christ for saving you. The second thing is you will want to live a life pleasing to our Lord. When you’re rescued from death into life you will understand that you need to put Christ first in your life and the way you can do that is to live a clean life pleasing to our Lord. Don't misunderstand me we will not be perfected until we get to heaven but we can do our best to live a righteous life.

COLOSSIANS 2:2 That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; 3 In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. 4 And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words.

Witnessing through writing is one of the best ways for us to tell of Christ but you need to be careful in what you write. Go over what you have written and post it on a Christian site so they can go over it with you and tell you some things you might not have thought about.

Also unless you’re writing a book you need to make your message as simple as you can make it without making it to simple. The reason I say this is nonbelievers will pick out something in your post and take it off message and they will probably do that anyway but don’t be discouraged they will get the message.

After you have got it edited post it on sites that are non Christian so you can give them the message of Christ. You will get a lot of bad talk but know they might or might not have heard the message before and may not have received Christ. There might be a Christian on a non believer’s site but not many will reply supporting you so be careful when you reply and always show love no matter what they say.

Block out the bad things they say and it will be easier to reply. Always remember they don’t know Christ and essentially they are like the people of the bible that did not know Him. What is a nonbeliever’s site? Any site that does not have praise for Jesus Christ such as dating sites or blogs or anything you can post the message of Christ on.

Were all born in sin whether were white, black, Asian etc. so we should look at each other and remember that is our nature and not judge. God has a better way for us in this world.

JOHN 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment. 25 Then said some of them of Jerusalem, Is not this he, whom they seek to kill? 26 But, lo, he speaketh boldly, and they say nothing unto him. Jesus Christ sacrificed Himself for us so that we can have eternal life and have a better life.

JOHN 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. 10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

After Christ has forgiven you of your sin you will see your wrong clear as day and fix what you have been doing wrong. If you’re putting going out with your friends before your wife you will put your friends on the back burner and put your wife and kid\kid's on the front and vice versa no matter who you are man or woman.

EPHESIANS 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. 28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. 29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:

You will find a need to be in Church so you can learn everything God has for you. But don’t get me wrong you don’t have to be in church to ask our Lord Jesus Christ for salvation. All things will become new your past wrong will be wiped away and you can start a life Clean and pleasing to the Lord. Our Savior needs to be above everything in our life.

Our country celebrated its independence in 1776. “That all men are created equal; that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights; that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness;” They knew how important it was to put God first. They put God in everything we do from swearing on the bible when you’re supposed to tell the truth to putting God on our money and every were else. We are a country made to serve God, making sure God was taught in our schools.

We’ve fought for God in several wars since our country was founded making our country the greatest country in the world. We have taken God away from our land at a slow pace. God will take our country from us if we don’t go bake to respecting God in everything we do, just like he took Israel’s land away from them. Since Adam took the first bite of that apple or whatever fruit that was. The devil has been hot after us since. We are made in God’s image every soul has the ability for greatness and our founding fathers knew that and put God in everything. They knew that our nation was capable of great wickedness so they drafted The Constitution.

When we had the Great War it brought us back to serving God. Many brave men and women went to fight wickedness. When WW I and WW II came along it united our nation and brought us back to God. We knew then that Gods people (the Jews) were threatened and were being persecuted in the worst way. We have fought for our nation and now for other nations that are being treated badly by cruel tyrants. Since my generation has been here on earth we have let the devil take over more and more at a slow pace. The time we have been here on earth we have grown very wicked and soon our Christ Jesus will come down and with a great shout call us all home. What hour we don’t know but it will happen.

God’s people have had several great leaders. Like King David for example who was sent to rule over His people from the age of a teenager. God would like peace but were such a sinful people we have had to fight wars all throughout history. Before he created us he had to form the world into a livable place for man. The only reason time means anything to us is because we are here for a short time. To God time means nothing God is eternal.

God knows we would wonder how we got here He has always made Himself known. There were scrolls and tablets around that told us why we are here. The Kings of England were all taught from the different scrolls and at that time it was only the kings that were taught. When King James come along it struck him that everyone needs to know God's word, so he put together some of the holiest men in that time to pray over and put together the Holy Bible out of Arabic, Hebrew and Greek, into one language that everyone could understand.

Thus came the King James Bible, and we started to serve God again. Throughout history we have left following after God and started to follow our own lusts and God will have to bring us back to Him. We can achieve greatness in the lord but we have to bring our country back to God and recognize the importance of everyone knowing what God has to say to us. Generation after generation goes by and we tend to forget about God.

My dad’s mom had cancer so she told him at a young age he was going to have to be a man because she was not going to be around very long. My Dad from that point on became a man and took care of all his family and as he grew older he felt a need to help others in the same situation. He has been working hard all his life caring for others and his family and I have never been in need of anything. I am very grateful to my dad he is someone to be proud of. When I was young I had asthma real bad it almost killed me several times but dad told me to keep the faith.

At that time I didn't understand what keeping the faith was, but I knew what it generally meant and I tried hard and I lived. Later on I was growing out of it. My parents sent me to church with a nice lady named “Closene”, who knew that we needed to be there. I didn't know very much about church in fact at a later date after I had went to her church I started going to a different church and right across from the church was a restaurant that served some of the best hamburgers and after Sunday School I went across to the restaurant and bought a hamburger with my offering money,

I learned of God at that age I believe I was in 4th grade, 1974. I then moved to highland high school around 77 or 78. I don't remember going to church that much after that, but I Knew of God. I didn't have salvation at that time. I was becoming a very healthy young man and I walked every were. I had grown out of the worst part of my asthma and was doing everything a young man could do.

I walked every were I went and it became easy for me to walk for miles. I enjoyed finally being healthy. That summer of 1979 was the greatest summer I had as a kid. Every day me and my dog would walk down to the river in Cherokee Village AR and throw a truck inner tube in and float down about an hour to a swimming whole right downtown Cherokee village and I swam for a while and got out and walked home.

When I was that age I started drinking and doing drugs, I started selling drugs at school not very long after that. When I drank I drank until I passed out. It got to where I would do any kind of drug except shooting up. I told myself that I wouldn’t do that because I would be hooked, all the while I was hooked I just didn't realize it. I got to where I would take anything if someone said it was a great high. In the meantime I was kicked out of school for selling drugs.

My parents sent me to a Christian school; it didn’t last long before I quit that. My dad was working in the oil field then so he moved us to elk city OK. I went into tenth grade there and before long I picked up my old habits. I started selling drugs again and started doing drugs again. After a while I started stealing things. By the way never give up on your kids they will come around. I felt like the cops were closing in they had already arrested me for breaking in a school. I felt like it wouldn’t be long and I would be in jail.

In the mean time my dad had made a lot of money in the oil field and lost a bundle up into the hundreds of thousands. I never had need of money. The drugs were taking over my life and I didn't care. When you’re taking drugs you have an “I don’t care” attitude. I didn’t care at that time whether I lived or died. I wasn’t depressed I just didn’t care. Before I left I got to know every bad element around Elk City OK. I was selling to the bikers, school kids, and everywhere in between. I have seen allot of bad stuff and it got to where I couldn’t talk without using the f word in every sentence.

I felt like my Dad got me away from there just before the police were going to pick me up. I moved back to the area where I grew up, at least were I spent the most years as a kid. We moved to Memphis not long after that and I was old enough then to wise up and go to work. I hadn’t left my past alone totally but I was a ways away from it. I got a job and started working hard for my money. I wanted to be just like my dad and work every minute I could, we was there around three years.

I would drive back to hardy every weekend and bring drugs and a whole chest full of alcohol to party with. Then later on my friends started noticing I was having seizers and my cousin told my mom and dad about it. My dad wondered if they had laced my pot with something. My Dad took me to the hospital to find out what was going on. After a cat scan that nearly killed me because I was allergic to the iodine dye in it I was admitted into the hospital. My neurosurgeon at the time gave me the bad news, he told me I was going to die in 6 months and faster if I keep doing drugs and alcohol.

At first I was devastated then I thought oh well. I’m sure my parents were more devastated than I was. The doctor told me I had an AVM “arteriovenous malformation “a bunch of abnormal veins in my head. He said it was a birth defect I just figured it was the drugs but it wasn’t so there I am going to die in 6 months and the first thing that came to mind was to bring a load of drugs and alcohol to my friends and let them party. The best thing that ever happened to me was when I got there. We were going to party at a house I hadn't been to before but I didn’t mind. When we got there I told everyone I was going to die in 6 months so party down.

That night after we had been partying for a while I noticed there was someone sitting in the kitchen by themselves I don’t think he was partying with us but it was his house though. He asked me to come in there where he was. He wanted to talk to me. He asked if I believed in God I told him yes then he asked if I believed in Jesus Christ I said I did. He then asked me if I wanted Jesus Christ to save me, I said yes. He said I can call the preacher and a couple of deacons out and they could pray with me. It was about one or two in the morning and I told him I don’t want to bother them that late. He told me it was no problem at all.

I was so excited to be saved I didn't think about the party that was going on around me. So he called them and they came out. They moved the party outside and they came in and prayed with me and I accepted Christ in my life. They asked me if I wanted to come to church that Sunday and tell everyone I had accepted Christ in my life. I said yes of course I was so excited. I didn’t feel that doom I had felt when they told me I had 6 months I knew I would live forever, I was so happy.

My ultimate goal in life Because Christ has been so good to me is to serve Christ. I want to win every soul I can to Christ. I think if we will do that we will be building the kingdom constantly. God created man and He loves you and wants the best for you.

God didn’t name animals what God did name was what kind of animals they were such as animals in water, air, or land. God left the naming up to man and until recent history we didn’t call dinosaurs by that name.

GENESIS 1:24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. 25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good. 26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

People want to think that everything came into existence from some chemical accident. Things are too complex for that to just happen. When Noah was collecting all the animals of every kind did Noah collect every kind of dinosaur right along with everything else or was they already extinct?

JOHN 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

God created the dinosaur right along with everything else He created. Dinosaurs became extinct like many other animals God made and are becoming extinct practically every day. So the issue of time comes to hand and with God time has no meaning.

2PETER 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

When your Christ's the Holy Spirit will guide you in life and burden your heart when your doing something wrong to show you not to go that way.

When you have Christ you will find contentment in life knowing that our savior is holding you in His arms. Once we have that security we will want to tell others of His great love toward us all.

MATTHEW 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

MARK 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

LUKE 11:13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

JOHN 10:1 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. 2 But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. 3 To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. 4 And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. 5 And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.

Once we decide to follow Jesus Christ nothing can take us from Him.

PSALMS 46:1 To the chief Musician for the sons of Korah, A Song upon Alamoth. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; 3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.

When Christ is not preached in the church is it going down the wrong road?

“Yes”

How do you get right with God?

“Accept His sacrifice for you.”

ROMANS 4:6 Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works, 7 Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. 8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.

“If a person says, I’m going to ask God to give me a clean hart. Is it the same as salvation?”

The only way to help ourselves or anyone else is to start at the beginning and make sure you have received Christ and then find a church that serves Christ. The doctrine of a church should be based on Gods Holy Word.

1CORINTHIANS 14:33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

Christ needs to be first in our lives so sin will not have rein. problems will go away but not disappear not on this Earth. Until you get to heaven you will have sin in your life but you can’t let it rule over you.

2CORINTHIANS 1:3 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;

The truth is God’s word, everything else you need to let go of and study the Holy Bible. No one hearing Gods word is saved until they have faith that His word is true. After that a realization comes to you that you need to accept Gods sacrifice for you. You cannot be saved by doing your best to follow the Ten Commandments.

GALATIANS 3:2 This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

3 Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?

4 Have ye suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain. 5 He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

6 Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. 7 Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.

The problems in life will not all go away but you can have the knowledge of forgiveness and security in salvation.

We are made free from the old law once we have received Christ. Now does that mean we should go forth trying to break laws, it doesn’t. The old sacrificial laws are done away with and the new are to love God first then others as you do yourself. If you love others you will want to live life for others.

MATTHEW 22:35 Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying, 36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law? 37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

You do need to follow the Ten Commandments. God gave us a guideline for us to have happy lives. I have been asked about why don’t we have to live by the old sacrificial laws and the reason we don’t is because of Christ’s sacrifice.

EXODUS 12:12 For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD. 13 And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are : and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you , when I smite the land of Egypt.

As a picture God gave us a sign the “blood of the Lamb” of how we should be saved. It takes an action before we can be saved. It took the blood of the lamb over the door post then now we have Jesus Christ as our sacrifice.

ISAIAH 28:17 Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place. 18 And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through then ye shall be trodden down by it.

You can be as righteous as you can be but it will not get you to heaven. Until you receive the “blood of the Lamb” Jesus Christ you will not have salvation. Only asking with the full belief that Christ was crucified, buried, conquered hell and rose from the grave will save you from your sin.

MATTHEW 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. 9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

MATTHEW 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

The second coming of Christ might not come in our lifetime but it might well come right now. We need not rest from the work Christ has given us to spread his word through the entire world.

You have the opportunity to be in the book of life right now. If you wait you might have tomorrow you might not. Christ sent Christians to spread the good news. He didn't want Christians to keep it to themselves.

1THESSALONIANS 5:1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. 2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. 3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

Witnessing for Christ is a blessing. You’ll have to just get out there and do it. When I first started witnessing I felt like I was forgetting something. When I left the house of which I was visiting I forgot to tell them about our Lord Jesus Christ.

I would generally ask them to visit our church. Now that I have done it for a while I learned a few things. For example when you visit the first thing you need to say is what church you’re from so they can identify you. Then tell them your name. It should be the first thing out of your mouth.

Sometime in the conversation you need to ask if they know Jesus Christ as their Savior. You need to make sure that the main thing you are there for is to tell of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Jesus will take care of the rest. Visit everyone if the street you’re on has one of your church members go by for a pick me up and keep on visiting.

MATTHEW 16:24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

Before you know it you will have visited your whole town. Keep on visiting folks I have been through my town more than once. You can find the ability to go farther into the world and tell of Christ. Usually if I’m a ways from my church I can suggest sister churches or a church that serves Jesus Christ.

A lot of people thought I was Jehovah witness come to give them the watchtower. I’ve had some doors slammed in my face. I’ve had everything from people yelling at me or cursing even after they
found out that I was telling Christ’s message. Most are excepting when you come to their door.

Each visit is different but the main thing you need to do is identify your Church and yourself before you say anything. Always pray that your visitation will go the way God wants it and that God will lead you. Most of my visits have been very short but there are some you can go in and tell of our Lord’s salvation.

MARK 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Now I’m not saying that it will be safe what I am saying is you might be the one to tell him or her of Christ. Visit those houses you didn’t get a good reception at you might have caught them at the wrong time.

LUKE 14:23 And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.

I had a particular guy give me a hard time the first time I visited but he found out I was just trying tell of our Lord and I was invited in. We sat down and had a good visit. I have not seen him since but I know that when I left he knew of the opportunity that Christ was giving him.

JOHN 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Your better off to visit in pairs some people are afraid and rightfully so to open the door to a stranger. For some weird reason with two strangers they feel more comfortable. You will come upon a house sometime were there’s just a women there.

So next time on those visits if a woman is not with you on visitation you will be better to visit that particular residence with a woman. After you have done visitation for a while you’ll get to know if you need to take a women with you for some houses.

Remember who your there for and you will be just fine. Our lord Jesus Christ will give you the words to say. You will find it to be a blessing to tell the world of the Christ who came to die for our Sin. Now that doesn’t mean I’m leaving you women out. It just means if you’re going to visit someone your safer to go with someone else.

ACTS 2:21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

The Lord did not say it would be easy. There are some that have the gift of teaching the bible or being a greeter or many other jobs in the church but we are all supposed to tell the world of the salvation only Christ can give. It is alright to invite them to church or to some function you’re church is having. What I am saying is that Christ is the main thing you need to go into this world with.

ROMANS 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

When you give do it lovingly. A fundamental tithe is needed to keep the church going. It’s not needed for God but is our fair service to Him. God requires us to go to church to assemble ourselves together to praise Him and do His work.

If you’re not tithing you’re not supporting Gods work.

How would he support his family with no money?

NUMBERS 18:21 And, behold, I have given the children of Levi all the tenth in Israel for an inheritance, for their service which they serve, even the service of the tabernacle of the congregation.

If you tithe just for show it will not help.

MATTHEW 23:23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

Even as Christ gave Himself for us the least we can do is support His service.

EPHESIANS 5:2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savor.

God can use your tithe and bless it when you give with a loving heart.

PHILIPPIANS 4:15 Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only. 16 For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity. 17 Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account. 18 But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odor of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, well-pleasing to God. 19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. 20 Now unto God and our Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.

You have to have the proper judgment before you give if it’s for your purpose don’t give. If you give out of mercy for someone on missions, to support your church or many other things God blesses your gift. God can supply all our needs it's our service to Him that we give a tithe.

God created man knowing that he would have to give His son as a sacrifice. God created hell for the devil and his demons. The devil tricked Adam and from then on has been trying to get as many people to go to hell as he can. If God didn’t want to give us a free will to choose to do anything we want all of us would go to heaven. If He wanted to just make another animal He would.

GENESIS 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

So you’re saying you don’t understand Jesus Christ died as a sacrifice for your sin. The reason we have a wide variety of churches is because some people don't want to do what Christ ask them to do. They want to do it their way so they find a church that does it their way. When you’re hesitating asking Christ to save you is when Christ is burdening your heart for salvation.

GENESIS 2:15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. 16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: 17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Sin is when you do something outside of God’s will. Were all born into sin, God is not blaming it on Adam it’s because of what Adam did we all have the knowledge of good and evil. God created the circumstance so you wouldn’t have to go to hell. God sent Christ as a sacrifice for us. The sacrifice has to be without blemish and loved. God had the Jewish people of Egypt take a spotless lamb and bring it home and keep it four days enough time for them to get attached to it and sacrifice the spotless lamb and put the blood on the door posts.

EXODUS 12:2 This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you. 3 Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for a house: 4 And if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbor next unto his house take it according to the number of the souls; every man according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb. 5 Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats: 6 And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening.

I personally don't understand why people wouldn’t ask for salvation now. I know why I didn't. I was partying hard and had no need for salvation. Then Christ was explained to me and that I could have salvation and I asked Christ to save my soul after that it became clear as day. God sent His son as a sacrifice for us not himself.

If you’re not saved today Christ loves you and wants to give salvation to you. You have the free will to ask and when you do everything will become clear and you will want to return that love. Go to church and they can help you grow in Christ and go to Sunday school you will find it to be a great reward. Make sure the church you go to is serving Christ and not itself. People have always liked the easy way around being a Christian They can say I always go to church, I gave to the poor, or I am always nice to people. There are many other things that have been said.

It’s not what we do it’s who we trust our lives to. Only Christ alone is sufficient for salvation and can direct our paths.

DEUTERONOMY 4:13 And he declared unto you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, even ten commandments; and he wrote them upon two tables of stone.

People think if they keep the Ten Commandments the best they can they will be safe and be able to go to heaven. That's good if they do however While were here on earth we will be sinners no matter how hard we try to not to sin.

In the Old Testament they sacrificed animals. In the New Testament we have our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as our sacrifice for now and forever. We just have to go to Jesus Christ and ask for salvation.

1SAMUEL 12:23 Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the LORD in ceasing to pray for you: but I will teach you the good and the right way:

I will pray for you and if you’re saved always pray for the lost in this world and go telling of our Lord Jesus Christ. Living in Christ will give peace and contentment.

ROMANS 8:36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The call on us given by Jesus Christ is to tell of the salvation only He gives, now I’m not saying that no one else preaches Christ what I am saying is I’m Baptist and I’m saying what we do. For example Church of Christ does the same thing as us and others including Pentecost, Assembly of God, Missionary Baptist, Free will Baptist, and many more with a few differences.

MATTHEW 10:38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.

Christian’s love for people gives them a “want to” tell others about the salvation only our savior Jesus Christ offers.

The lord wants us to go to church it is not necessarily a commandment but it is what the Lord told us.

HEBREWS 10:24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: 25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is ; but exhorting one another : and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

Being a Christian simply means “Christ like” and you will be like Christ after you have asked for salvation. Along with saving your soul He gives strength and contentment in life. After you’re saved I encourage you to study the Holy Bible and also Sunday School is a very good way to learn the bible.

Christ will cover our sin from Gods eyes with His blood if we will ask. God knows we’re going to live in sin as long as we are here on earth. If we will ask Gods Son Jesus Christ to forgive us of our sin He will be just to forgive our sin

1JOHN 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

There is no one good enough to go to heaven by being nice or a good person. We can start to learn what God wants us to do instead of living a sinful life. A family of believers is a good way to learn of God and to serve Him.

MATTHEW 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

EPHESIANS 3:19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God. 20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, 21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

The only way to heaven is in the full belief that Jesus Christ sacrificed Himself that if any will ask accepting His gift of salvation He will save us and we will not have to go to hell with the devil and his demons.

HEBREWS 2:3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him ;

If you’re not saved yet you can ask God for salvation in Jesus Christ’s Name. So where do you start? Ask Christ for salvation. It’s as easy as believing that Jesus Christ died for you on the cross and was buried and rose three days later to save you from your sin. After you have asked for salvation Christ will forgive.

Sharing your faith with others is like praying. There is only one wrong way to do it, and that is not to do it! Over the years there have been thousands of books and tapes produced on witnessing, one evangelism program after another created, and the fact is they are ALL great. You can never learn too much about how to witness to others, how to share your faith. The reality is there is no one way to do it, but many different approaches. In the end, however, they all lead a person to the eternal choice they must make about Jesus.

You need to remember;
1. Each person who shares their faith is unique and different in how God has wired them.
2. Each person you witness to is unique and different in how God has wired them.
3. The circumstances and dynamics are also unique and different each time you share your faith.

Here is a simple way to witness and lead someone to faith in Jesus Christ.

The number one reason people don't share their faith more often, and sadly in the case of most Christians who fail to do it at all, is fear. The biggest fear is the fear of rejection. Witnessing has many similarities to sales, which is why you find people who are most proficient at witnessing are usually great sales people. In the world of sales the first thing you learn about is rejection. A good salesperson is able to hear 99 people say, "No" and go into that 100th sales presentation just like it was the first.

That's not easy to do, and that's why it is a gift to be a great salesperson. Even if you are not a "natural" salesperson, the key is to never forget that if someone says no when you share how they can be saved, it is not you they are rejecting, but Jesus. Just like a good salesperson never takes it personally when someone turns them down, you can't ever take it personally when someone you ask to commit their life to Christ says no. Again, they are saying no to Jesus, not you.

Also, the key to being a good salesperson is being a good closer. You will never get the sale if you don't ask for it, and you will never see someone come to Christ if you don't ask them to. The basic rule of Sales 101 is ABC or, Always Be Closing. The basic rule to Evangelism 101 is asking the person you are witnessing to if they would like to know Jesus as their personal Savior. At the end of a sales presentation you have to ask the person for the sale, and at the end of sharing the Gospel you have to ask the person to
accept the Lord.

Another fear so many people have is being asked questions they can't answer. You don't have to be a theologian to tell people about Jesus. If they ask you a question you don't know the answer to, simply tell them you don't know but will find out. Contact your pastor or your Sunday School teacher or someone at your church for the answer. This is why the more we read and study God's Word for ourselves, the more confidence we will have when we are confronted with different questions.

However, never forget that most people asking questions are not really interested in the answer as they are in trying to justify their own unbelief. Most ask questions as a way of proving that we are "wrong" and they are "right." People who reject God's Word and the love of Christ in their life, will use questions there may not even be an answer to, to feel better about their choice to reject the Lord. That is why I will answer their questions, but immediately put the focus back on them and the choice they have to make regarding accepting Jesus in their heart.

The other great fear people have about sharing their faith is offending the person you are talking to about the Lord and what ramifications there may be to them personally. So rather than offend someone, rather than deal with whatever persecution there might be, they simply say nothing. Listen, it is better you offend someone with the hopes of them coming to know the Lord than sitting back and saying nothing, while they die in their sins and are lost for all eternity.

It is better someone calls you "Bible thumper," "stupid for believing the Bible," "intolerant," "hateful," "no different than the Taliban," or whatever else they may say to you to try and intimidate you into being silent, than saying nothing knowing they will die one day and spend eternity in hell. The fact is the Gospel IS offensive to those who reject it, but it is the words of everlasting life to those who choose to believe.

The bottom line is that God has commanded us, not suggested to us, that we share our faith in Christ with others. This is not a commandment just to pastors or evangelists, but to EVERYONE who knows Christ as their Lord and Savior. If you really love someone, how could you let them die without telling them about Jesus, when you know that without Christ they will be lost for all eternity?

I pray that you won't allow fear to keep you from being obedient to God and telling others about Jesus. The easiest and most natural way to approach someone about faith in Christ is by simply sharing what Jesus has done and meant in your life. There is no way to deny what you have personally experienced in your relationship with the Lord.

Rebuke that sprit of fear of rejection, rebuke that sprit of fear of questions you can't answer, rebuke that spirit of fear of offending someone by telling them about Jesus, and rebuke that sprit of fear of being persecuted for sharing the Gospel. Pray that God will give you a spirit of BOLDNESS and COURAGE as you tell others about how they too can know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior!

One successful method of witnessing is to take a very direct approach. Look the person in the eye and ask them if they believe they will die one day. Of course they say, "Yes". Then ask them if they believe they have ever sinned. Again, they will say, "yes". Tell them that they are right, they have sinned and they will die one day. Remind them that the Bible says tomorrow is promised to none of us and that each day is literally a gift from God.

Continue by telling them that it is their sin that is separating them from a Holy God who loves them so much and desires for them to spend all eternity with Him. Tell them that is only possible because of what Jesus did. He willingly died on the cross for our sins and that is why if you will confess Him as your Savior, ask Him into your heart and life by faith, HE will forgive you of your sins and you are guaranteed to spend eternity with God your Creator when this brief life is over.

Share with them that this choice not only has eternal ramifications, but means something to them right now. Those who know Jesus as their Savior have the power of God residing within them, and can know the peace, the joy, and the abundance of this life that is impossible without Christ. Additionally, they can see the plan and purpose God has for them fulfilled during their brief journey here on earth.

At that point, simply ask them if they would like to know Jesus as their personal Savior. If they say no, tell them that you will be praying for them and that they need to spend some time alone with God and pray about what you told them. Remind them that God loves them and He is there when they are ready. If they say yes, spend a few moments to make sure they know that what they are doing is literally giving their very life to Christ. He gave His life for them, and they are now giving their life back to Him.

The key for you to remember is that this is a personal decision each person has to make for themselves. Nobody can make it for them, you can't force them, or intimidate them, or scare them into making it. It has to be a conscious choice that they make. When they are ready, simply have them pray what is commonly called the "Sinner's Prayer." This prayer does not exist in the Bible, though it is taken largely from Romans Chapter 10. These words don't save anyone but are simply a verbal guide for what they are doing BY FAITH in their heart.


Sinner's Prayer
"God, I am a sinner. I ask you to forgive me of my sins. I believe in my heart, and confess with my lips, that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. Come into my heart Jesus. Take my life, I surrender it to you. From this moment on, I will live my life according to the Bible and serve you. Thank you for taking away my sins and giving me everlasting life. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen
