ok guys and thanks for your help and it seems that you need some more info 1- i have windows7- 64 bit 2- hard disk is 275 gb, 240 of it is free 3- processor AMD A6 APU WITH Radeon HD GRAPHICS 1.4 Ghz ( quad processors) 4- RAM 4 Gb 5- system 64-bit operating system i use my computer mainly to watch u tube, movies, ms word and excell.Not many programs there either. when at idel, the cpu usage is between 0-10% memory usage when idel or when i have three stations going is around 1.8 GB CPU TEMP IS ALWAYS AROUND 70% OF MAX ( IS THERE A GUIDE LINE FOR LIMITS?) FAN SPEED IS ALWAYS AROUND 80-90% OF MAX. HOPE THIS INFO SHEDS SOME LITE ON WHAT I SHOULD TRY TO DO NEXT. Problem 1 and 2 amd AND ati Not he best of either the cpu or the gpu worlds Slower and poorer of them . Having said that your system shouldn't be crawling as you suggest. What anti virus program are u using if any. 1. Install and config ccleaner 2. My fans run all the time as they are designed to - maybe yours are too. then again if a laptop urs shouldnt run like that then again its amd and they always run hot and problematic. 3. If you never formatted it I suggest you do that and only install the operating system and drivers and the programs you need. The new systems when bought from stores have all kinds of crap on them and are best to do a total format and delete all partitions. yes, wipe the recover partitions as that is where viruses can and do hide.Yeah, turn of the restore area of windows. Does linux or Unix have it no, and for good reason. Viruses hide there and ur just restoring other errors that are stored there from previous stored points. |

how can i find the geographic position if i know the IP address? fred You can always find you location from any ip address ask any cop or fbi or ranger .. Now does the public able to get that info no thats why we are the public. ASk yourself then why does the cops know where u are at with a cell phone in the first sec u dial 911. MY computer is running very slow , and streaming too. i have Toshiba lap top satelite, quad processor, 4 gb memory. I had run virus clean up, registery fix, defrag, disk clean up, delted temp files, etc. NOTHING HELPED. I DID notice that the CPU tempreture is 70-80% of max , and the fan speed running at 90% of the Max. any suggestions of what the problem is? and what i can do? fred First pc cant multitask or do real-time you need both to do the other. Can be the anti virus u are using - what is it. How many programs are u trying to run on startup or at "once" 2 defrag is old school really wont help. crap files are more then just in temp - in prefetch in allot of other places too. Get ccleaner then u have to config it right- takes about 5 minutes but it will then speed up the system. |

Okay. I just gave my opinion as to why the 360 is my favorite system. Plus, I do know that the 360 does not have Blu Ray capability. I didn't talk about running games from one library on the other system. I dunno the inner workings of either system. I just know what I enjoy and I love both systems for what they are. Just enjoy the 360 a bit better. Plus XBOX LIVE has always been better than Playstation's online....again that is also my opinion. Thanks for the info.
thats right it was opinion but u stated facts - which werent facts at all so i corrected it. Yes you of course choose which you like better for "live" action online. Remember you are paying double- to get online then to pay them to get "live" online - when you pay for microsoft which i consider Foolish plus being 8bit system excluding the old used ppc cpu.. SO When you pay for and not get I Know you get ripped off. SO true your choice. I do know The PS online has improved so much so,but has always been better then live. Really watch a movie no stutter stop while playing a game and chatting. Thats true real-time multitasking oh yeah and downloading three or more games. Then it tells you when your games are finished downloading. Yeah I know the PS3 Network rocks - course you can do that while playing a game anyhow. Still true your choice of what u like best as with anyone else . I just go by facts and go from there. Have fun with your Live. |

Facts are these Sony is way better then crappy samsung done a side by side comparison . Sony is the same as vizio. you have to remember that someone could have messed with the settings of the Sony. Ill say it again VIZIO is Sony. Like getting a Ford instead of a Lincoln same exact stuff just cheaper price.
Best thing to do is to take a Sony and reset it to defaults then reset eh vizio to defaults. youll find they are the same. oh by the way walmart sells low end sonys. you want high end sonys go to a high end place like Bjorns Sony is very high end then there is Pioneer and now u have VIZIO. you jsut cant beat the three -FACTIOD |

I have to break this down into current and then go to the all time. So here goes. XBOX 360 (Current)- Props to Microsoft. They went back and fixed all that was wrong with the system when it originally came out. Yeah, the Red Ring of Death sucks, but once they saw that Nintendo and Sony were gonna kick their butts, they went back, worked hard, and made the current system friggin sweet. I find the one downside is that you don't have the Blu Ray player capability. But eh...you can now buy those things for cheap. But what XBOX has...and it always has had this...is XBOX Live. It is simply the best online system. Most of the games you get for the PS3 come on the 360. And while God of War, Uncharted, and Infamous are great franchises for Sony, the 360 gave birth to best new franchise in a while...Gears of War. I love the PS3. I just love the 360 a bit more. Mostly this is due to how Microsoft fixed their issues while Sony hasn't done much to make the PS3 even better (and their online isn't up to par with what Microsoft has). Atari 2600 (All time)- No other system will ever compare to the original Atari simply because in an age where the Arcade reigned supreme, this system came along and changed the way you would play video games. Oh yeah. The graphics are soo hilarious to look at now. Even back then the graphics were not even close to what you got at the Arcade. But the thing this system did was bring families together. It did mine. My parents, and step brothers all played that damn thing. Hell. I remember when I beat Pitfall and took a Polaroid of it to send in to Atari to prove I did. Lol. Fact is, this system was so much fun to play, even when you knew it wasn't gonna have the best look to it. That wasn't what made it work. If anything, the ET game should have killed this system, but it really didn't. What made it fall behind was the NES. But, as we know now, that was just evolution. The console systems would improve over the years, but the Atari stands out to me because of all the games that hooked me, and all the games I beat on it. And the fun I had with it will probably never be matched. Resident Evil 4 (Favorite game of all time)- Galaga is a close second. However, the day I bought RE4 and put that disc into my Gamecube, I was forever changed. And a new game took over my all time favorite. Not only did this game save the survival horror genre, but it changed the way you would play FPS games. And, it also changed the RE universe forever. The beauty of this game lies in its' way of coming off like it is a new born child into the gaming world. Fact is, this game had the weight of an entire series on its' shoulders. And boy...did it ever succeed. It's tense, it's horrific, it's action packed, and for the time it came out (2005) it is simply beautiful on screen. BS to what u are saying the 360 still has the red ring of death mickysoft said they have a 10billion dollar nistake and WOnt fix it. 2. PS3 has far superior hardware. so u cant run ps3 games on 360 nice try. but u can run any 360 on the ps3. have done so. Thirdly most importanly. Why do you think they tell u to return it the 360 s. So they can take the ppc off the system its a G3 an old ppc thats not made any more hasnt been made since 1990. NO mac never made the ppc . Its a dead chip. The 360 is really a old mac clone.old outdated pos. 8bit graphics. PS3 true 48bit graphics true real-time multitasking. RGBE. PS3 rocks Those are the facts. no the cd player since it wont work. WE have already known that. You make a iso to usb from sardu. So you can boot from usb. That works i use sardu all the time I can remote in and make it for u i can give u my email via sending u my email. via the email here

They are both right.... Often when you download a file for a new OS you must burn it onto a CD/DVD.. this is called creating an Image to boot from.. You will also need some drivers for your hardware and he is right.. you get those from the manufactureers web-site... sometime googling it will get the job done also for specific drivers that that web-site might not have.. usually adware but it works. Third that their forgetting , that was the first thing that went through my head... the boot sequence... sounds complicated but its pretty simple.. most ppl call it the BIOS screen I call it CMOS setup.. when your loading your old OS after restarting your PC look in the upper right hand corner before the windows logo or whatever logo of your OS. It will say something like press f-9 through f-12 to enter BIOS or whatever type of set-up. In one of the catagories of the drop down menus you will see a selection that says boot sequence and select the CD/DVD disk as a possible source to boot from if it is unchecked... This is only if you have problems with the other two and it still dioes not work. Most boot sequences include the disk drive.. but not all of them. Mirage cant be left out can he sad - anyhow i hope u downloaded ur drivers- you more then likely did as you didnt email. Dah mirage good grief mirage get a grip it was solved. read. |

Recovery disk are usually for that set model of computer so it is set to run for that model . Unless u just got the os for it then u must also get the drivers for the model of that computer . Which is 64bit drivers - Go to the manfactors website to get the drivers.

Ok.. your under the misguided notion that I do not know that performing a clean install may be the only way to remove a virus. Personally myself I am not hugely dependent upon my current OS ... I keep drivers and necessary files on a flash drive and re-install my system.. One of my OS's I do not even have the key for and use it all the time. Many people are not the same way and like to maintain their current data... Realistically many people can guess where they got the virus if their computer becomes infected with one... this makes choosing a restore point easy to do... in this case it is not likely the virus is going to be copied over onto a system restore. I would recommend a system restore just because most people do not have their data prepared to preform a clean install and save the files they want and need. If your saying the virus can infect the data files even though the files were created before this... I do not doubt it... but still not the easiest thing to do... when you run into turbulence during a system restore then youd preform the clean install... Like many web-programmers I keep my files backed up on a remote server thios makes me very mobile with an existing archive of porn and other goodies from whereever at. First dont ever assume . Its not about being easy its about being right and hence what is right to do.Even Geeks squad, Tech Depot -turn off the the restore point as they know viruses hide in the restore point , and errors of previous system point are brought to the system area to be used again .If done ur foolish way. Thus illogical which again isnt easy ,but rather stupid and foolish . Thus doing that then doing a clean install is back ***-wards or as ur name implies mirage a mirage of the truth. You back up ur stuff . Format and do a clean install -as that is the correct and Logical way. Install Bitdefdender and ccleaner - config it And prepare for what ever may come |
