The few years leading up to 40 I wondered if I would be one of those that had a midlife crisis, or if I'd be huddling in a corner crying...but my 40th came...went out to celebrate with family and friends- came home and watched Bloody Birthday....it might be a different story when I turn 45. kind of the way i felt monday. i am thinking it was just (or hoping) a passing down time and extremely hoping it doesn't happen from year to year for the rest of my life. the alternative Unsure? And what is that? ManOfewwords....I think you look wonderful! Geez Phuque2...when you put it that way...honestly....THAT i don't believe. i do feel wonderful and i take care of myself. i feel about 33 and i would definitely not want to be in my 20s again. (unless i could do over with what i know now *big sheepish grin*) |

It's just a number, and I don't feel like I'll be 40 on friday, but yesterday it seems like whatever i did or heard had something to do with me getting older. I got the blues very quickly. I'm better now, but i'm afraid for friday.
I have no idea what is in store for me as far as who is planning what, but i think i'm going to run away for the weekend. |

My first book became somewhat of a hobby as well. With advice and the wonderful feedback I received I turned it into a novel.
To date I have sold just under 100 copies. After my second book gets published i will continue marketing both. It is possible to make it happen. Don't lose faith. |

We had a cop friend who quit the force because he apprehended a guy who put a gun to his head and clicked the gun.
Later he found out there was a bullet in the chamber meant for him and there was no practical reason why the gun did not fire the shot. |
