Man. City too !

Well Barcelona certainly showed City what football is all about last night!! Men against boys!
Yep and I remember in Nov 2012 when Barcelona came to Celtic Park and got beat 2-1 Donny? Man City without Aguero, aren't all that mate? I bet Chelsea to win the Premiership, as soon as I heard that Mourinho, was their manager again.

Get back with them, and then cheat on them, and then break up with them
Which is why you'll end up a lonely old man one day, if you keep doing that? As your reputation will precede you, no matter where you go! Better to be yourself, rise above it and prove to them that you can do better WITHOUT them! The best way to get your own back on somebody, is to be successful in your life, after you two break up! I have exes that try to contact me, but they're an ex for a reason and that's the way it will stay. Anyway, i've got a peach of a girlfriend now and i'm not looking anymore. Got the woman I want totally

Nothing funny about any type of violence. No one deserves that type of life. flowerforyou Larsson
Its only up for you now! Peace, Love, and Happiness!

Had to quit that life with her, not just for my sake, but the sake of my boy most of all. People can think whatever they want of me on here and I don't give two flying hoots RCB, but my son always has been and always will be my life! f**k with my son and whoever did it had better vacate the Planet, never mind the UK! No mercy when i'm on the warpath!

I have a friend that lives Southend Scotland. Mull of Kintyre? Haven't heard from him today but yesterday he said they were towing car after car away to keep them from being swept away. Lots of prayers and be SAFE!

Considering her mate stays in Essex, in England, where Southend actually is? Maps don't lie and the Mull of Kintyre, down the Campbeltown road is 89 miles from Glasgow and nearly 600 miles from Southend the way she speaks, just is fantasy! Take it from a Scotsman, who knows his country?

Doh, Southend ... bad memories. My ex left me standing their with barely 10 quid in my pocket, my phone battery was dead, didn't even have my passport on me, it was dark, raining, shops about to close and the *#&@)$&*_(#+%$) just walked off and let me standing there.
I'll never forget Southend, can tell you that much. And indeed very Essexy, lol

One day I'll have to go back there, just to get GOOD Southend memories, haha.
Well Carebear, thinks Southend, is my side, the haggis side of the border and im saying ' Bawbags to that ya f*****g madman! Southend, is where I used to rally my Escort RS Turbo, when I was 18 - 19 and a boy racer at the time, with a souped up sports car! Which was defo 1989 - 90 time, as I was in my first year as an apprentice Joiner ( Carpenter ) at the time, in Essex!

"Mull Of Kintyre"

Mull of kintyre
Oh mist rolling in from the sea,
My desire is always to be here
Oh mull of kintyre
Far have i traveled and much have i seen
Dark distant mountains with valleys of green.
Past painted deserts the sunset's on fire
As he carries me home to the mull of kintyre.

Mull of kintyre
Oh mist rolling in from the sea,
My desire is always to be here
Oh mull of kintyre

Sweep through the heather like deer in the glen
Carry me back to the days i knew then.
Nights when we sang like a heavenly choir
Of the life and the time of the mull of kintyre.

Mull of kintyre
Oh mist rolling in from the sea,
My desire is always to be here
Oh mull of kintyre

Smiles in the sunshine
And tears in the rain
Still take me back to where my memories remain
Flickering embers growing higher and higher
As they carry me back to the mull of kintyre

Mull of kintyre
Oh mist rolling in from the sea,
My desire is always to be here
Oh mull of kintyre

Mull of kintyre
Oh mist rolling in from the sea,
My desire is always to be here
Oh mull of kintyre

Sir Paul McCartney
I believe he honeymooned there with his late wife Linda and spoke of it
as their paradise.
I remember when the song came out in the 70s,I like to listen to this slow tune with the bagpipes playing all through it,now and then, it keeps me mellow. I will definitely go there as well as.. Ise of Man as my Nan's side is from there.

I would send all my love but my heart never left Europe, to my true home Continent and her people. history shows..your all f*n nuts..
to the old Countydrinker
Hi Betty waving whats going on in the east? How do you guys sleep at night..lol

I bought a new pair of shoes yesterday actually because my old ones had holes in the soles and my feet were getting wet when I stepped in puddles.

Larsson, when isn't it raining in Glasgow? So much for that weather forecast that you told me about the other week. All that we've had here is a bit of light drizzle.

I live near the Water Of Leith and I've heard about houses down there being flooded a few years ago but there's about as much chance of Arthur's Seat erupting again as there is of there being a big flood in Edinburgh that people need to pray about.

Have you ever climbed Arthur's seat?
I never heard of it so I GOOGLED It. Looks very interesting.
Glad all is well where you live.

Yes, the house where I lived when I was a kid was on the slopes of Arthur's Seat and I've been up there quite a few times but haven't climbed up there for years. I'm no climber and heights used to give me vertigo butt you can get up Arthur's Seat by just walking if you avoid the crags and steep slopes. I remember sitting up there with my family back in 1977 when the Queen had her silver jubilee parade here. We call the part of the town that Arthur's Seat is in "the park" and the castle is built on a rock that was the plug that came out of the volcano. I've climbed up the castle rock as well.

You can never really get lost in Edinburgh because you have those landmarks to help you get your bearings. We get a lot of tourists here but they mostly just come for the festival.

I have never in my life seen a Volcano erupt. It must be quite the site. Where you live sounds really nice .

My Dad was born in England ,the white cliffs of Dover. He died when I was only 14 ,but I still remember him talking about it.
Its a place I would love to see someday. Have you ever been there ?

Yes I have, on the Zeebrugge to Dover ferry, you see the white cliffs. Nice sight, cos you know that's you home in a sense, as the last part of the journey to Scotland, is only overland.

When you do talk to him do you go on and on about this and other things that you think makes him a crap boyfriend? I've had to deal with that from a woman and although I did take her calls every night, they just became annoying.
It's the clingy, needy ones Tawt, that's the most annoying? When somebody phones me, I don't expect the phone to be going again every 2 minutes from that same person, with text messages thrown in also between calls? Phone me, yes by all means, but let me run my business also, as bills and workers salaries don't pay themselves and I ain't gonna meet other women while working up on a roof either? Just glad that the lassie that i'm with now understands that and knows that once work is over, she's got me totally when i'm home!

@larsson, I'm laughing so hard. It's not funny and I'm truly sorry u got stabbed but u gotta admit that's some hardcore stuff lol that's a badazz chick
She was a nutter, but lets get real? I lost nearly 3 pints of blood and could've been killed, for what? Nothing! If that sort of thing amuses you then you really have a problem and I hope that sort of thing never happens to you? Violence, is violence at the end of the day and nobody deserves to get stabbed, as that certainly ain't love!
ur the one hanging out with folks that wanna stab u and something's wrong with me? Lmaooooo Back off
Whoa, whoa! No YOU have it wrong here? Way wrong! My ex was a cokehead and stabbed me cos I didn't give her money for drugs, that's why. I had my back to her also when she did it. I wasn't with her at the time either, but she was still my sons mother! If that were a woman that said that a guy had stabbed her, would you have laughed then? Would you f**k! You would've been condemning that guy as public enemy #1 and quite rightly so. Coming from a woman that thinks it's ok to just burn peoples wallets, etc, as an act of retribution though, i'm not surprised, in the slightest?

Oh, Arthur's Seat is an extinct volcano. I've seen it on fire a few times though because there are a lot of gorse bushes on it and they burn very easily.

Yes, I've been to Dover but that was a long time ago. When I was a kid we went on holiday through Europe and I remember getting the ferry from Dover to Calais once. We went to a fish and chip shop and they had different types of fish on the menu, which is unusual because most fish and chip shops just serve hadock, or Japanese catfish, which is like hadock but cheaperr now and some chippies do cod. Dover sole is nice though.

I haven't spent much time in the south of England and we were always just passing through but my mother had friends in Leeds and Sheffield and we went there a few times when I was a kid. I remember being in Leeds during the great drought of 76 actually. They say that we get all of the crap weather in Scotland but it's England that gets those droughts and floods. Up here the worst we really ever get is blizzards and it's usually only people going walking in the hills in that weather that need rescuing.
Arthurs seat is an extinct Volcano, as is the hill that Edinburgh Castle sits on. Been there many a time Tawt. Well Edinburgh, is only 40 odd miles straight through on the M8 motorway from me. It rains quite a bit here in Glasgow, yes, but give me Glasgow, over Edinburgh any day? It's just a better City all round!

You can keep it mate. Can't really say that I know Glasgow very well but that M8 is probably the most depressing road that I've ever driven on and the worst areas in Edinburgh are posh compared to shitholes like Castlemilk. We don't really have that sectarian crap here or gangsters fighting about who gets to sell ice cream. My sister lived in Glasgow and she liked it but she lived in a nice area. I suppose that it's about where you were born and grew up and what you're used to really. I moved away from the town when I started the high school and I remember a mate of mine from the Pans saying how toonies are up themselves and they thought that he was on another planet. He kind of was though and panners are just like that.

The only good things that I've ever heard anyone saying about Glasgow anyway is that you can buy better clothes there and that the clubs are better for pulling women.
Thats true about the clothes shops. Cruise, is my favourite, but I used to go to Xile in Edinburgh also quite a lot.

Yeah, a lot of the shops have changed here now. There used to be places up the bridges where I bought a lot of nice shirts but a friend of mine said that you have to go to Glasgow for that sort of gear now.

Sorry to hear about your uncle anyway man. Give me a shout the next time you're in Edinburgh and we'll go for a beer if you like.
No probs Tawt. Yer on mate!
