that's just fine if i'm looking at my phone while it's in my
pocket...I WANT the notification I WANT the bell-ring but ONLY
if someone sends me a message...that's it

is it that hard for the IT Guru's to add a check-box that says

"I only want notification when someone on M2 sends me a message"

wouldn't doing that also turn off any notification that
someone has sent me an email from M2 ????

there are only two check-boxes on "Notifications" as follows

Notify me by email of new messages and my latest matches at Mingle2 (recommended)

Send me relationship advice,new feature announcements and special offers from Mingle2

I agree with you Wylie, I too want only to be notified if someone
actually sends me a private email and not the "Match Game" BS
I had to take M2 off my phone because of the bell ringing..

there needs to be more choices on "Notifications"

"X" in upper right-hand corner of profile pic of the

(pay attention)-----> SEARCH PAGES...not the match game, not
the blocking function, not who views me....

it even gives a warning that if you click the "X" this profile
will be removed from your search and you will never see it again
are you sure you want to delete this person ???
(blue button)----> Cancel/OK

I have 3 right now that no matter how many times I hit
the "X" they keep REAPPEARING...

if you prefer not to look at me it would be ok to wear
one of those *sleep masks* i wouldn't mind at all..

yes, the green dot on a profile in the search pages means
that person is currently online.

if you open the profile up, just below their name it will
say something like-- online now or last seen in the last day,
four days, two weeks, thirty days or over thirty days ago..
a paying member has the option to hide their online status
