And while you're out on some of Texas's lonely stretches of road, watch for some of Texas's famous speed traps. Some of those county sheriffs and hyway patrol boys are real good at hiding in the weeds.

You look like a fairly big guy,

try this;

The biggest and most famous steak in Texas is the
72-ounce (4.5 lb) steak at The Big Texan Steak Ranch in Amarillo. Known for its famous challenge, you must eat the entire steak—plus a salad, baked potato, shrimp cocktail, and roll—within one hour to get it for free.

India is the largest demoracy in the world !!
Not if Narendra Modi gets his way.
One more term & he'll have slammed the door on democracy in India for good.
Banning Muslim public worship is just the next step in branding Muslims as the "Others" so he can "justify" pacifying the streets.
Same autocratic playbook.
They all follow it because it works - until it doesn't - then comes the violent repression.

You got that right Coot

Auden travelled to China in 1938 with writer Christopher Isherwood during the Second Sino-Japanese War
. They spent several months visiting the war zone.

He was also in Spain during the "Civil" war there.

"Brothers Who When the Sirens Roar" written by W H Auden in the 1930s. It's actually political and predicts the downfall of the wealthy upper class both incorrectly and pretentiously.

I believe it's actually about being in a shelter during a bombing raid.

Much like Picasso's Guernica.

If you've ever experienced it you'd understand.

India has a long history of animosity between Muslims and Hindus, often leading to riots and many deaths.
It's the main reason Pakistan was formed.

Would you like the U.S. or all other Western countries to behave the same?

Had a sportster, but the bike I enjoyed most was a 750 bonniville, was a pig to start but outhandled the sporty all day long.

Take a motorcycle through the English countryside.

can I be you're co-pilot bigsmile

Don't think you'd enjoy it. I'm not the cruiser two-wheel mini van type of rider, and I've got the scars to prove it.
