Most people don't know that back in 1912 Hellman's mayonnaise was manufactured in England. In fact, the "Titanic" was carrying 12,000 jars of the condiment scheduled for delivery in Vera Cruz, Mexico which was to be the next port of call for the great ship after New York City.

The Mexican people were eagerly awaiting delivery and were disconsolate("desperados") at the loss. So much so that they declared a national day of mourning which they still observe today.

It is known, of course, as ...sinko de Mayo.

enjoying the sunny day. working in the garden,cut the grass an cleaning out the flower beds.

Ron Wilson the garden guy. he is on every saturday for 2 hours wealth of information for any and everything dealing with garden, lawns or tree and shrubs.

bought 36 bell bepper plants, 18 hungarian hot peppers, 18 sweet hungarains peppers, 36 different tomato plants 6 sets of 6 each,
6 chinese cabbage plants which I have never grown these before so I'll be interested on how they turn out. 18 yellow squash and 18 cucumbers, These will go in my homemade green house till after mothers day due to frost concerns. have to go back for more bell pepper plants due to thats all he had today.

All an all thats a good start so far.
