what would George Jefferson think,say and do good question? He was interesting because although he harbored anti white views, he also had a lot of anti 'lower class' black views too. He would be republican and he would probably not want white folks at the dinner table but would definitely accept their money in financial endeavors and he would begrudge black people who hadn't made it to his social level too. HE and Archie were a match made in sociopolitical heaven,,lol Intersting that you would gloss over George Jefferson when he held the same views as Archie did . |

for cucumbers if you like them put a lil rose trells up and let the cucumbers grow up it. very good way.. i wont go back to on the ground now.

Havent eaten yet but for my dinner since its such a beautiful day here. will be grilled Hamburgers,with all the trimmings. lettice, sweet videla onions, dill pickels, mustard,mayo. potato salad and bake beans. for refreshments a couple ice cold labatts.

In my youth I have let pride dictate how I reacted and to a point i still do but as I've gotten older I seem to shrug most of it off unless you say something bad about my dog.. then It's on like donkey kong. lol.
Has pride held me back. I dont believe so it shows a determination in doing something no matter how many hurdles are put in the way. Too much pride to be called a quitter.

I hear you no1. I usually plant the remainder of my garden this weekend but the AG dept said to hold off till the 20th, glad i did they are calling for frost the last half of the week here. Cold veggies have taken hold from the transplants and are growing well . peas,lettice and spinach are breaking thru the ground and sprouting
